When A Picture Says It All!!

Reader, these folks are so dedicated and pledge total allegiance to the god they serve, but we as Christians, have turned our God into Santa clause, with no time for worship, praise or study in our busy schedules. I'm aware of the back drop that goes along with this picture but I still think they deserve to pray in their own mosque in peace and quiet. What is this world coming to?

Linda Sarsour: This is resilience. This is perseverance. This is faith. This is commitment. This is inspiration. This is Palestine. Denied access to pray at Al Aqsa Mosque in their own homeland, Palestinians pray on the streets in an act of non-violent resistance. They are met with tear gas and rubber bullets. But you still can't keep them from God. While the world powers continue to turn a blind eye to the blatant injustice against and the suffering of the Palestinian people, they remain steadfast and teach us life, determination and patience. Palestine will be free, it's not a question of if, its when. Long live Palestine! ❤️🇵🇸❤️"

  1. Even though Muslims serve a different God than the God of the Bible, they should have "freedom of religion". In case anyone forget, "freedom of religion" is one of the great tenets of the American Constitution. We don't see this great country who claims this as a major value, fighting against Israel in their behalf of the Palestinians. Yet they would kill world leaders like Khadaffi and Hussein in the name of their tenet of democracy. DEMOCRACY of HYPROCRISY? I choose the latter.

And ever worse many who claim to be the Church support Israel as God's chosen despite Israel's despicable acts of violence almost DAILY, the murder of innocent women and children committed against many in Palestine. And moreso in their false way, they support this evil nation (many of their rulers are not JEWISH, past and PRESENT) under the guise those who bless Israel will be blessed. This lie has been told so long because as many prompt to misunderstand simple verses to ABRAHAM stating in Genesis 12:1-3 "Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed."These promises WERE to ABRAHAM, not to the nation of ISRAEL. Not to mention the TRUTH Paul told those foolish Galations "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus." Gen. 3:28

I'm not convinced in now way America should pour billions and billions each year to this nation to build up a sophisticated military killing thousands of people defending themselves with make shift bottle rockets. And for any who would become dismissive because these folks are Muslims, there are many CHRISTIANS living in Palestine. The Isrealis could care less about innocent killing Christians living there. Christians are the true children of Abraham, because they believes in the GOD of Abraham.

Shame on Benjamin Netanyahu. Shame on Donald Trump, and Obama, and all the PONTUS before them. Shame on John Haggee and CUFI. Shame on anyone who condone violence against innocent people.

    1. (I'm a different Anonymous)! @Anonymous (DEMOCRACY OF HYPOCRICY). I really like your comment, however, unless I have MY biblical Understanding confused, what was God saying then when HE said "Pray for the Peace of JERUSALEM??" You're right, In Christ, there is NEITHER, Jew nor Gentile. BUT, that's only in the Truth that God doesn't respect one above another. But HE did choose Israel (Jewish Nation) as HIS Chosen people for the lineage of Jesus Christ. I also totally hate violence against ANY innocent people group/person...That goes for ALL races. That's why I don't get caught up in this DEVILISH racial mess. It all started with the FALL of Mankind...NOT JUST BECAUSE OF SLAVERY/HITLER/KKK or ANY other issue people want to come up with. "All" of us, and I do mean "ALL", are guilty before THE one and only TRUE God. Because even though I'm a Black man, it gives me NO special privilege with God. It's ONLY because of HIS Son Jesus Christ. So I don't mean to insult your heritage, "if" you are of the Palestinian race. God is ALWAYS "Just" and "True". No matter what MAN says. Bless you!

    2. Anonymous,

The psalmist (Psalm 122) implored people to pray for the peace of Jerusalem for therein was situated the house of God (vs 9). However, Jesus declared the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem (Matthew 24:1-2) and cried out against its (the city's) errors.

"O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together... and ye would not. Behold, your house is left unto you desolate... Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord." (Matthew 23:37-39).

As believers, we should have faith like Abraham and look for a city whose maker and builder is God (Hebrews 11:10).

"And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband." (Revelation 21:2).

    3. @Anonymous "Pray for Jerusalem". I really appreciate your comment. Like Shepherd said Psalm 122:6,7 David called the Israelites to ask God to maintain Jerusalem (lit. foundation of peace) in peace because the house of God stood within it. David was a man after God's own heart. Unfortunately, most of the children of ISREAL were idolaters, evil doers, rebellious, stiff-necked people whom the LORD killed and had them ushered into captivity. About Israel being chosen -

"What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision?
Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God." Romans 3:1,2

"What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin; As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:" Romans 3:9,10

He choose Israel to they would commit to His Oracles, HIS Commandments, not as a lineage for the Birth of a SAVIOR.

And as far as their commitment, ISRAEL failed grossly. Steven's speech in ACTS condemned them, they were so full of rage against their evil, they STONED Stephen to DEATH. Even though Christ came through the tribe of JUDAH, the JEWS shouted CRUCIFY HIM, CRUCIFY HIM, and let Barabbas (a thief) live.

Paul spoke of their evil, and even John in his prophetic book said
"Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee." Rev. 3:9

When you research the natural history of how the nation of Israel we have today, you'll note Satan's trickery to have the current FAKE JEWS living there.

I'm not sure how all this play into a lot of end time teachings, but the BIBLE is TRUTH and HISTORY is TRUE. It's said about Israel, many there are outright atheists. They are BIG on LBGT and have a Giant festival EVERY YEAR (not so in Palestine).

They initiated the slave trade of Africans.

Their religion is Kabballah and they believe strongly in the Talmud (a diabolical book). So much for being God's chosen.

  2. According to Genesis 15:18 and Joshua 1:4, the land God gave to Israel included everything from the Nile River in Egypt to Lebanon (south to north) and everything from the Mediterranean Sea to the Euphrates River (west to east).God stated all of the land modern Israel currently possesses, plus all of the land of the Palestinians (the West Bank and Gaza), plus some of Egypt and Syria, plus all of Jordan, plus some of Saudi Arabia and Iraq. Israel currently possesses only a fraction of the land God has promised. The message from God in Jeremiah 31:35-37 is both powerful and plain. God will stop thinking of and dealing with Israel as a nation when the sun, moon, and stars stop giving light and when the sea stops roaring. As long as those things continue, God will regard Israel as a nation before Him forever. For extraordinary emphasis, God gave another powerful and plain declaration of the permanence of the Jewish people in His unfolding plan of the ages. Since it is impossible to measure the heavens or search out the foundations of the earth, God will never cast off the seed of Israel – even taking into account all they have done. The descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob have an enduring role in God’s plan of the ages until the end of the age.

    1. These days everyone is claiming to be a Jew or Israelite. On the face of it(Not a racial argument) how can Caucasians from the Ukraine with no Mediterranean features be historical Jews? I am an immigrant in this USA. There are people with fake documents, does that make the American? Just asking.

  3. Miss Ann,

"And when thou prayest, thou shall not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing... in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut the door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly." (Matthew 6:5-6)

"...the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father... But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth." (John 4:21-24).

Remember that God's WORD is the Truth! (John 17:17).

    1. Amen Shepherd. The WORD of the LORD has spoken!

    2. You don't pray openly in your church?

    3. I know everyone owns a church these days. However I am talking about the place to "Do not forsake the assembling"

    4. @ Anonymous,

We have to read and understand the WORD of God in its entirety.

"Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering: (for he is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling together... but exhorting one another: and so much more..." (Hebrews 10:23-25)

The last "assembling" I was part of was all about the senior pastor. When I shared with some of the church leaders my personal predicament (my father was terminally ill), I hoped there would be consideration for my situation from the leadership, but there was none. There was no love and exhortation, it was what the senior pastor's "vision" of the church that mattered most. So I left this assembly, seeing that they walked contrary to the doctrine (Romans 16:17-18).

My comfort is in knowing that the WORD of God is my guide (Psalm 119:105), I know who the Bishop and Shepherd of my soul is (1 Peter 2:25), therefore I shall not want... (Psalm 23:1)

Paul who wrote to the Hebrews on not "forsaking the assembling", realized that in the last days there will be betrayal from men and advises Timothy to reference the WORD of God because it is profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works (2 Timothy 3:16-17). You could read the whole chapter for context.

Believers have the WORD of God for life, preservation (Deuteronomy 8:3, Matthew 4:4), wisdom, knowledge, and understanding (Psalm 19 and 119).

    5. I understand your pain. However the Bible tells us not to put our trust in man. It says we are to Look to the hills from whence cometh our help. It also commands us to love one another. However I leant the hard way that we cannot sulk when do not get the love from the brethren. My sister/brother. There are assemblies which are not all about the Pastor and his First Lady.

  4. When God chose Israel, he did not give them the right Carte Blanche to abuse and do anything that comes to their mind. There is also the issue of the authenticity of these Jews. That is by the way. I continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
