More Americans Say That You Can Be Good Without God?

Image
Reader for the first time, a majority of Americans — 56 percent — say it is possible to be a good person without a religious belief. So says new Pew Research Center data drawn from two polls conducted among about 5,000 American adults in June and July. “God is not a prerequisite for good values and morality,” Greg Smith, Pew’s associate director of research, said in a post about the findings. ” … [T]he public’s increased rejection of the idea that belief in God is necessary for morality is due, in large part, to the spike in the share of Americans who are religious ‘nones.

Magic Johnson And Wife Cookie Strong Christian Faith Lead Them To The Acceptance Of Their Gay Son EJ.

Reader Magic Johnson appeared on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' on Wednesday and opened up about his experiences surrounding the coming out of his son EJ. EJ, who came out in 2013, is a reality star who has appeared on 'Rich Kids of Beverly Hills' and his own spinoff 'EJ NYC.' Johnson told DeGeneres that he’s learned through his son’s coming out that you need to love your children ― no matter what.

"Johnson and his wife Cookie had previously discussed EJ’s coming out, sharing that their initial struggle stemmed from their religious beliefs. However, Cookie said that it was her commitment to God that led to her supporting her gay son. “Ultimately, I just prayed to God and said God, ‘You reveal to me how you feel about this,’” she said, “and he was like ‘Love. Love your child.’ And that’s what I ― that’s what Jesus was about: love.”

'It’s all about you not trying to decide what your daughter or son should be or what you want them to become,' he says in the above clip. 'It’s all about loving them ― no matter who they are, what they decide to do. When my son came out I was so happy for him and happy for us as parents. And we love him ― EJ is amazing.' Johnson went on to say that it’s crucial that parents of LGBTQ kids remain supportive of their children because of all of the discrimination they will face.

    1. That's the way they trained up the young man - Proverbs 22:6.

    2. They didn't train him. Spoiled him and let eat and play video games and play dress up in mommy clothes.

Had magic taught him how to be a man, he would be. There is hope. He being turned away from parties in Beverly Hills. The Johnsons are big money supporters in Bishop Blakes church. God will have the final word of the young man. Rebellion is a dangerous emotion.

    4. Yeah I do. His adopted sister stated my 1st paragraph as #facts. Google it.

What part of the 2nd dont anyone know to be true? #More Facts....been to West Angeles lately? Queen Latifah her royal lesbian was in attendance week before Easter. Its all Love forgiveness and acceptance. Folk know when they in rebellion against God. Yet need Him. That's the beauty of the Gospel. All have sinned and fallen short. Magic failed that boy. Period. A man gotta teach his son how to be a man. Period.

    5. And this has me thinking. How much are the Johnson's being paid to promote this pervert lifestyle on the different talk shows?

And for them to be bold faced talking about God being ok with it. Yet there is judgment coming (Luke 17:28, Jude 1:7). They are using the name of God in vain! And leading multitudes astray with this falsity.

  2. They both are big liars beginning with Magic's HIV/AIDS lie. And being BOLD runs in the family. Him kissing Thomas in the mouth every NBA game on National TV back in the day. Yes he has given to community but what is he promoting spiritually to millions? They are all scary.

    1. Ok. Connecting dots.

He used to kiss a man way back when.

He found out he was HIV positive in 1991.

At that time, HIV was mainly among homosexual males.

So back to my second post. EJ was trained up like so.

  3. FACT...Look at how cunning and crafty the devil is. He hasn't changed since the beginning of time. That's why God KICKED him (Lucifer) out of Heaven. Ellen De-Generate is nothing more than a White Oprah (character). Btw, I don't apologize!

  4. Say what y'all want, but best believe behind all the facade this is how Magic really feels lol. In this politically correct era that we are living in if he was to say anything else other than what he said and opposed it the media and social media would destroy him. Good PR move for him I guess.

  5. In other words...LIE/COMPROMISE against God's Word so that you can have good 'PR'. RIGHT!! Ask Apostle Paul (in the Word) how he felt about that.. Or, better yet, ASK THE HOLY SPIRIT if Magic wants the TRUTH. Probably not!!
