Happy Palm Sunday, Palm Sunday Is The Path To The Cross!

Reader, does your church celebrate Palm Sunday? Today official ends the "Lent" season and begins "Passion Week." Back in my old church (First Missionary Baptist Church) we would celebrate Palm Sunday by laying palm leaves up and down the aisles of the church in remembrance.

Palm Sunday celebrations are the Triumphal Entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem. It's the week before His death and resurrection, some churches call it Passion Sunday.

Passion Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week, which concludes on Easter Sunday. The Bible reveals that when Jesus entered Jerusalem the crowds greeted him with waving palm branches and by covering His Path with palm branches.

Immediately following this great time of celebration in the ministry of Jesus He begins His journey to the Cross. Happy Palm Sunday!
