"Do you trust Disney with your kids?"

Reader today Beauty and the Beast is released in theaters everywhere, but not without push back from the fake christians community. Once again fake christians are up in arms when word leaked out that Disney’s much-anticipated live action retelling of a childhood classic Beauty and the Beast will show its first openly gay character, La’Fou.

Yesterday Pastor John Piper tweeted an article under this tagline: "Do you trust Disney with your kids?"

I been watching afar the buzz surrounding the movie, and the thing that gets me is that fake christians are upset about the scene being homosexual, but they ignore the angry mob, as mentioned, and the fact that the entire storyline is based on either beastiality and/or Stockholm syndrome.

Beauty and the Beast, a childhood classic,  a story about a water buffalo who keeps a young girl against her will to force her to fall in love with him... but gay characters is what fake christians are mad about.

If fake christians going to boycott this movie now, at least they need to admit to themselves that they should have boycotted it long ago.  Plus if you had any morals at all 45 won't have become our next president.

Anyhow, I believe the author whole point of her article is that it's odd that people are shocked about the "gay moment" being talked about in Beauty and the Beast and forget the fact that Disney has never represented a biblical worldview.

I love how she talks about us being more diligent about raising our children in the ways of The lord. We should have been questioning everything and seeking to hear God's voice in all things when it comes to our children.

  1. Miss Ann,

The author is right. Unfortunately Christians didn't know better way back when. But now that we know, we have to raise the next generation in the ways of the LORD.

"Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6).

PS - this movie teaches children to fall in love with that which is evil. They make it look attractive. Showing that behind the ugly and evil being is a heart that longs to be loved. And that we humans can bring the good out of that which has been marked and known to be evil. It's also in the same spectrum of the "Romance" novels. Innocent girl falling for the bad boy in town. And she cleaves to him and "turns" him around. And this could be the same concept the 3 young ladies (of the "how to be found" fame) are using I.e. position yourself to be found which could mean act weak and vulnerable, "maiden-in-distress-esque"; for the knight in shining armor. IJS!

So now that we know God and His TRUTH, there's no need to turn back to these weak and beggarly elements. (Galatians 4:9).

The LORD is my Shepherd, I shall NOT want...

  2. Actually some believe that the beauty and the beast is inspired by the true story of Petrus Gonsalvus who had a condition called hypertrichosis. Which is an abnormal amount of hair growth over the body. Because of this people thought that Petrus was not human but someone proved that wrong and he actually become a lord in court. Petrus story is here: http://www.smithsonianchannel.com/shows/the-real-beauty-and-the-beast/0/3394874

    1. @ Anonymous,

Pray do tell by what true story the horns of the beast are inspired.

"And I beheld another beast... he had two horns... And he doeth great wonders... And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth..." (Revelation 13:11-14).

The LORD is my Shepherd, I shall NOT want...

    2. Hey, I just saying what some believe. I don't know where the horns came from because if you look at early illustrations of the beast. The beast is depicted as a warthog, a lion, a bear and more. Besides, I only know the disney version of the beauty and the beast I don't know if the original version by Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve actually describes what the beast looks like.

    3. Here is a link to buzz-feed describing the beast from the Disney version:https://www.buzzfeed.com/kmallikarjuna/in-case-you-were-wondering-what-animal-the-beast-actually-is?utm_term=.liAXMaodO#.wkr3L9bRZ

    4. @The LORD is my Shepherd, I shall NOT want,

That is a VERY GOOD POINT. I remember the show from the 80's where the "Beast" had the face of a lion.

BUT THIS BEAST, looks like the Baphomet symbol (aka devil)!! Coincidence? I wonder. And your spiritual sense that this movie will teach children to fall in love with that which is evil...is very chilling.

Sympathy for the devil?? I wonder WHO is behind the movie? Perhaps the devil himself!

  3. It's very simple. Disney strongly supports the gay community and lifestyle. They even have LGBTQ day at both its parks where little children have arrived to have innocent fun. So why should Christian believers support Disney at all?
