At Least For One Day, Young Chance The Rapper Gave Us All Something To Cheer For!??!?!?!

Reader this situation really provoke anger in me, ok so Chance the rapper just donated $1 million to Chicago public schools and pretty much told some in office how to do there job after having a meeting with them. Now they want to put him on the front cover exposing about his child support case?  I'm not feeling the attack that is level against this young man at this present moment.

Yesterday a news article written by a black woman was released by the Sun Times talking about chance the rapper child support situation. This article was to deflect from the good deed that young man did

So positivity in the African American community is not allowed in Chicago? Young Chance gave us all something to cheer for, debate for, and took the focus off the horrendous crime rate in Chicago for a couple days and here come the Sun-Times with this mess. Something ain't right about this. Here's a young black man doing something good and now folks want to have a black woman write an article about his child support case. The foolishness never stop. The front page? Is this how Chicago treats its own? Someone that reached out to help the educational system?

  1. Miss Ann,

When Chance chose to give back to Chicago schools, he shouldn't have announced it and let his left arm know what the right arm was doing (Matthew 6:1-4). Child support or not.

  2. Amen Shepherd.

Very Good Biblical verse to support.

BOTTOM LINE: This young man really needs to be saved. All his good works (and the good works of anyone not saved) will burn in the LAKE. Only what you do for Christ will last.

  3. I think what he did was a good thing and gave an example to all the kids he influences how to make a positive change in the community.

However, as for the charges... I mean if you in the spotlight ppl are going to come for you. He should of at least had those affairs in order first BEFORE donating 1m. I say that bc it would have made this situation a mute point. Also think of the other parent... you raising yall child and he isn't giving you anyou money saying he broke but you look up and he on tv winning Grammys and then you look on Twitter and it's trending he donated 1m to a school saying it's for "the kids" & giving back to the community but you don't even give to youread OWN child your own flesh and blood. That's a slap in the face & screams of hypocrisy. Not saying that's how it happened but anything similar would make the other parent VERY upset and also other people one possibly being a female journalist who could identify with a deadbeat parent but go around doing for others but not their own... just saying :)

    -Chris

Ps - Either way the money he donated to the school was dope. Now just take of your own child too and keep pushing forward. Again I hope to the Lord keeps pressing upon his heart to the point he accepts Jesus and then make some REAL change.

  5. This is why that some of these "beliefs" on this blog are SO ignorant. "OBEDIENCE IS BETTER THAN SACRIFICE"...The prophet Samuel called out King Saul for disobeying God (Don't Care if he IS a black man..HE NEED TO GET SAVED.... SINCERELY!!). Give all you want, BUT, TAKE CARE OF YOUR FAMILY...GOD SAID IT!! NUFF SAID!

    1. Don't call folks ignorant. You do know every body is not the same, right? Folks belief is shape in part to their exposure to truth. Stop with the name calling.

    2. Ms. Ann... The post said some "beliefs" are ignorant, not a specific indivual is ignorant,
