Reader, New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Lithonia, GA, names new Senior Pastor: Bishop Stephen A. Davis of New Birth Birmingham has been named to succeed the late Bishop Eddie Long. Long was the senior pastor of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Lithonia.

    2. Won't happen; New Birth MB Church will stay in African-American hands! Bishop Davis is only taking over 'The Church!' Vanessa Long and the Long family still control New Birth corporation and the board, the church is a part of the corporation!

  5. Vanessa, I'm sure ain't going NOWHERE !!!! Remember, Eddie ran a corporation called Newbirth and you best believe Vanessa and family got control somewhere. Don't think Eddie would leave his family without leaving a financial and control over NB corporation. NB is not just one church, he has a bunch of worldwide franchised NB's($$$ coming in) .

    This is business. Trust that.

    1. Amen RLR...THIS Black theology that spews the worship of the Black Nubian Queen is demonic. These folks aspire to a movement directly aligned with the feminist movement. As a matter of fact those persuaded by KABALLAH, did a lot of social engineering to condition BLACK WOMEN to become independent and angry. Unless God save these like the Anonymous you addressed, and the BLACK women, the Black women will never really experience true femininity, and be the virtuous women as described in Proverbs 31. The Nubian Queen is never to be bowed down to.

    2. How is it demonic? Is it because it recognizes the black woman?

    3. My words were "the worship of the Nubian Queen is demonic". This is simple to understand. Only God is to be worshipped. No man or woman. GET SAVED NOW! Dont put it off till tomprrow. You are a sinner, will die, and spend your time on eternity in hell. But the good news is Christ died so that you can live. All you have to do is believe that.

Repent and recognize the Savior. NOT THE BLACK woman.

      GET OUTTA HERE!!!

  7. Ann I wonder how a congregation full of black women, especially in the heart of the south, will take to having a white First Lady. I don’t see this working out for either side. Either the pastor will leave or the members will.

  8. God doesn't see the color of our skin... the only color God is concerned about is the red blood that covers, wipes away, and washes our sins. God has no respect of persons... so we must stop with all this Black vs. White Christians foolishness.

If you could only worship with folks who have the same skin tone as you, you're just as prejudice as those whom you label.

Some of the most influential Christians who imparted in me, doesn't have the same skin color as mine.
