Word On The Street Pope Francis Has Extended Power of Priests to Forgive Abortions.

Reader, I've debated with myself on whether I should post this. I've had many (respectful) debates over the years about this subject. Contrary to popular belief, pro-choice does not mean pro-abortion. Most common sense thinking people already know this. It simply means giving a woman the right to make health decisions that is best for her and her family. I am pro-choice but I do not believe in abortions just for the mere sake of having them; like it is some form of birth control. That is foolishness.

Any how,  Pope Francis released a letter on Monday, November 21, 2016, that extends the powers of Catholic priests to forgive abortions. Pope Francis has declared that all priests would have the right to forgive abortion, making permanent a temporary measure put in place for the Vatican’s jubilee year. Starting December 8, 2015, the Catholic Church practiced the Year of Mercy, the hallmark of which was the forgiveness of abortions. The Year of Mercy, described as “a widening of the church’s mercy,” officially ran through yesterday, November 20, 2016. This new announcement from the Pope extends the practice of forgiveness for abortions indefinitely.

  1. Only God (not any man) can forgive sin. This is why Roman Catholics are not Christians .

  2. Miss Ann,

John 8:36 "If the son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed."

There is no need for those who have believed to be entangled again with the yoke of bondage for Christ has definitely given us liberty to live according to his precepts (Galatians 5). We can't trust man, lest we be cursed (Jeremiah 17).

The LORD is my Shepherd, I shall NOT want...

  3. Hi all. Just my belief. For the life of me I cannot wrap my head around the thought of individuals who believe abortion is cool or believe in pro-choice and believe in Jesus at the sametime. I refuse to empower or be an “enabler” of those who believe in evil. However, here are reasons for the justification of it. 1. Women’s Rights: This ideology has desensitized the mentality of what abortion really is and therefore causes one to ONLY focus on a women’s right. They will say, “My body my right or you’re a man and you can’t say a word!” This type of language has women who believe in this demonic activity, has them to think they’ve won their argument. They fail to do their research on devils like Margaret Sanger, the Jaffe Memo 1969 which was designed by them and satan to destroy life and keep the population at bay. Some will even say you hate women if you’re against abortion. The feminist movement rides on this all day long. Personally, for those women who have had an abortion without repentance, I care about them so much that I’m trying to keep them from bustin’ hell wide open. Hard ain’t it? 2. The Democrip Party: People who have ascribed themselves to this party feel an obligation no matter what because of the other side. Redbloodicans. On just this alone, abortion rights advocates feel that the Democrips have their best interest at heart, so therefore if the majority of them believe in abortion, then “oh well’ is the attitude. And they’ll use stupid terms like, “to each is own.” Now from the spiritual aspects of this, others will say, “God gives us choices. “ They’ll use that statement and run with it and believe in their brain they’ve won they debate failing to realize scriptures such as Pro 6:17 God hates one of these things which is “hands that shed innocent blood.” God also believes in life and they more abundantly. The abortion rights advocates will never want the reality of what abortion really is to get out. They will defend at cat or dog FIRST before defending a human life. Case in point, there are animal rights advocates that believe Mike Vick should be executed. Yep. What Vick was crazy but you get the point. Catholic church can forgive nothing. Their heretical teachings are a complete opposite from the Word of God. Back to abortion. For those that believe in abortion, you are okay with this: 5,700 black babies are killed every week. You are ok with abortion to be an instrument of black genocide. Planned Parenthood has strategically placed themselves at locations within black neighborhoods. They know what they are doing. If planned parenthood was solely for the health and well-being of women, I’d be all for it. But there’s are dark side. DEATH. A total of 323,999 killed in 14’-15’. And folks, this is what they’ve reported within their annual report. Hmmm. They’ve missed a few. Don’t get me started about Africa where Obama INCREASE the funding for it. According to CDC 55.4% of abortions were black or Hispanic. There were 699,202 abortions in 47 states and the District of Columbia reported to the CDC for 2012. the CDC says there were 148,971 black babies killed by abortion in 2012 (36.7% of the 405,795) and 75,868 Hispanic babies (18.7%). Again, I ask. How can a saved Christian (supposedly) be for something so diabolical.

    1. For the life of me I don't get it when so called Christians make the claim that they are Christians but at the same time want to think that they can take make choses for others.
Like I said I don't support abortion in no shape or form but I do support a woman right to chose what's best for her and her family.

  4. Ok, Sis. Brock, I'm a little confused.? You say you don't support Abortion but SO-CALLED Christians make choices for others! So, what choices are you talking about is alright for a woman to make the BEST choice for herself and her family?? Are you saying if a woman BELIEVES that the best choice is to abort her child, it's OK because she is making HER best choice? Just asking...No disrespect?? In Christ Alone, RLR.

    1. RIGHT...the woman is making the choice for the child if she will abort. That child is innocent and have no say so what the woman decides. This is such an old argument. We should never take away innocent life.

    2. We shouldn't take away the right of those who would speak in behalf of the unborn. Christian should have the right to say a woman should not have the right to kill her unborn child.

  5. RLR, thanks for asking. As a believer, I believe life begins at the point of conception. In my childbearing years, I would've never ever wanted to have an abortion. I personally think it's wrong and don't think that I could have possibly done it, but that's not the point. The point isn't whether or not it's right or wrong, whether or not it's against the bible or not that argument doesn't work on other religions or those without religious affiliation. I believe women saved or unsaved should have the right to choose what's best for them. We Christians cannot take away folks right to chose, because we who are saved deem something is not right. Everyone is not of the household of Faith. The important part is that they have that right and that right is protected. I believe at the judgement seat of Christ ever deed will be judge accordingly.

  6. Ms. Ann
The point is whether its wrong or right. Is murder wrong or right? Is stealing wrong or right? We have laws based on morals of whether actions are wrong or right. If abortion is wrong (in the general sense) then it should not be allowed. No matter if your religious or not, a Christian or not, athiest or not, etc. That doesn't matter. We do have freedom to make choices, but not freedom to make every choice that we want with no consequence. If abortion is wrong, then it should be against the law for everybody.

  7. And also Ms. Ann, I feel like you are a contradiction. You say you are against abortion, but your pro choice? Well pro choice mostly, if not always, includes abortion (Im speaking about the term in general) You said you are for a women's right to choose what is best for her, but you don't support abortion as a term of birth control. Let's say a women does use abortion as her birth control and she has had 5 abortions. She has decided that is whats best for HER, then you would support that or you wouldn't? If you would, then how are you against abortion? And if you wouldn't support that, why not? That is HER choice, and you said you are pro choice?
