Why Did TBN Try And Silence Kirk Franklin Voice??

Reader, this is a doggone shame in the fact TBN would take a false  commercial break, says a lot. Kirk Franklin is a fellow Christian brother and they didn't honor his opinion.  TBN yall  got problems.

Kirk Franklin after winning the "Gospel Artist Of The Year" award at the 48th Annual GMA Dove Awards gives a monumental speech and lead all in prayer. The response was absolutely incredible. The audience was 85% white and everyone in attendance gave a standing ovation. But then it happened, good ole TBN edited it out. Kirk made the appeal to the body of Christ to speak up on the issues that are facing our country. The church has been silent and has forfeited her power. We have a collective spiritual and moral obligation to declare the truth.

Usually, television shows edit for commercials but Kirk reminded us in an interview that "TBN does not have Commercials. I don't think that was a good move seeing as we are ALL trying to do our part as the Christian artist to bring healing to an already hurt world with so many obstacles and now a major network chose to silence yet another attempt. Thanks,TBN for letting the world know this is our fight and not yours, and Thanks, Kirk Franklin for yet representing ALL of our fights to bring attention to our real life struggle. What is your take on this? I'd Like to hear from you.

    1. Shameful!! Not surprised. The only program I watch on TBN is Tony Evans on Sunday Mornings.

There truly is a religious narrative that is fully ego/narcissistic driven... actually that honestly is the dominant character of "religion" ...the unveiling has been happening for years now...its simply the authenticity of our Truths and the access to information that displays this Truth is at the forefront of this newly visible spiritual frontier. - no surprises on this one....but this is an amazing era to watch unravel, unfold, and reBIRTH a nation!!!!

    1. Ann, will we heed with deeds or just agree in tongue? The gap among believers alone is profound, especially within this election, and a large part of the youth are beyond a spiritual response. YES we NEED prayer, but why is the body rejecting the need to organize, we want mentors, civil officials, celebrities and such to be accountable while we stand by with a form of godliness and deny the power thereof. We are more scared of the people and law by which we are not bound that we have forgotten God, he's not fooled.

  3. Incredible, but it's obvious... Healing racial tension isn't profitable. Big money is made off the crimes of the brethren. Hollywood makes big money off the drama, reality television shows etc. Controlling the mind by conditioning it to think one thing is controlling a person's everything.
Hats off Kirk, and regardless of the Efforts of TBN your words still came thru loud and clear!

  4. Wait a minute, you all must have forgotten, the words of the GREAT, Mississippi Congressman Thomas G. Abernathy...

“We must realize our party's most powerful weapon is racial tension. By pounding into the consciousness of the dark races that for centuries they have been oppressed by the whites, we can mold them to the program of the Communist Party. In America we will aim for subtle victory. While inflaming the Negro minority against the whites, we will endeavour to instill in the whites a guilt complex for their exploitation of the Negroes. We will aid the Negroes to rise to prominence in every walk of life, in the professions and in the world of sports and entertainment. With this prestige, the Negroes will be able to intermarry with the whites and begin a process which will deliver America to our cause.”

KIRK FRANKLIN got their award, and gave their "narrative"..

    1. @ Anonymous, True!

The “I need to say something” is all Franklin is about. He can’t walk about it (Matthew 19:25). He is all for the $$$. That was quite a show, very entertaining with a standing ovation (applause).

They are all fooling us though, Franklin and TBN. None of us actually knows what their TRUE mission statements are.

    2. Hey "The LORD IS MY SHEPHERD"...I forgot to identify myself with my reply. It was me "GET OUTTA HERE"...

    3. And you know what else "The LORD is My Shepherd", the 80+% of white folks who applauded, are NOT going to do anything in support of BLACK Lives Matter. They will battle some internal guilt, but most of them don't even know where to start. GUILT, PEOPLE! The only answer to GUILT and SHAME (white folks) and HURT and PAIN (black folks) is JESUS CHRIST...Don;t get me to preaching, but hey, sounds like a good chorus to a SONG. If KIRK wants to use that, he has my permission. LOL...GET OUTTA HERE!!!

    4. True Get Outta Here!!!

It is dangerous for people to live in this kind of emotion (guilt) - it borders to evil. A few verses from Psalm 119:

Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments (Psalm 119:66).

Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way (Psalm 119:104).

Anytime a speaker (religious, actor, politician, motivational, etc.) or even a singer talks/sings and you feel they are tagging at your heart or even your skin is crawling (goose bumps and all). STOP!!! The devil knows how to get to us through our flesh. Eve had no idea (Genesis 3:6), Jesus Christ our Savior knew this (Matthew 4:2-10), Paul understood this (Romans 7:25). So what are believers to do?

Keep God’s law with all your heart (Psalm 119:69). Love the LORD your God with all your heart, mind and soul (Deuteronomy 6, Matthew 22, Mark 12, and Luke 10). An example would be King David. He was a man after God’s own heart David. He was repentant and obedient (unlike King Saul [1 Samuel 15]) and did not turn his heart away from God to serve other gods (like King Solomon [1 Kings 11]). But the ultimate example that we have is Jesus Christ our LORD and Savior (John 13, 1 Peter 2) for he was obedient unto death (Philippians 2).

None of these “wanna be seens” can love us the way our LORD Jesus loves us (John 3:16 and 15:13).

The LORD is my Shepherd, I shall not want…
