Kirk Franklin Pens Emotional Letter To His Daughter Who's Set To Get Married Today.

Reader Kirk Franklin is officially releasing his lovely daughter to be married today.
"She's getting married today.....and I've spent an hour and a half rewriting this. Crying, smiling, and preparing to let go, ....of my little girl. I will walk her down the isle, then I will officiate the wedding. Why? Because I'm selfish, for my little girl. And she asked her daddy to! How could I say no?! I pray I don't make a fool of myself and cry more than I speak. God, it's so hard to release her. If I could I would keep her a little girl, FOREVER. Selfish, I know. But at this moment, I want to be. I want to go go- kart riding, jet skiing, middle school basketball games, movies over and over again....just me and her. This is hard as Hell.
She has no idea, cause she's not a daddy. I am. A proud one. I hope I was a good one. I'm sorry for that one spanking you got that killed me more than it did you! I'm proud and love your future husband. Jealous, but proud. He comes first now. I'll have to get use to that, cause I'm selfish, for you. Only pictures get stuck in time, not people. They grow, and need to be let go.... I'm going to try really hard,...but please, when I see you with your new life, let me hold you every now and then, and pretend....that I'm never letting go. Forever daddy's girl. Signed, A girl's daddy."

  1. This dude always seem to want to go over the top with his "gift of language to express". Everybody knows as an artist, Kirk can do "poetry". BTW, part of a section of the Bible is poerty, and when you Read these sections, you'll aiway notice how the writers always express to glorify and reverence God, and call man sinners and wretched. Not Kirk Franklin in his expression to be poetic. He claims to glorify man, and call God such names as "ole dude"when he comes across as a holy hip hop dude.

    1. And it is suspect how he keeps on repeating that he is selfish. Trying to get people emotional, which is not a good thing.

    1. For a "man of God" to state, "this is hard as Hell" regarding giving away his daughter in marriage, he needs to be psychoanalyzed.

And I'm not holding my breath. (Lol).

    2. "Just because I'm a man doesn't mean I don't get 'he-motional'..." That is a verse of a song that was used to promote TD Jakes' He-Motion teachings and subsequently book (way back when).

Franklin's expressions are a fruit of that wicked teaching.

For Franklin to say "hard as hell", does it mean he has been, or is he trying to express his "feminine side"? Because that's what Jakes' he-motions is all about.

As saints, we have to go back to the WORD of God to make sure that Franklin's statements align with the scriptures.

Romans 7:25 "...so then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin."

      Thus psychoanalysis, whilst breathing.

    3. Well said anonymous. "thus psychoanalysis whilst breathing"...l live it! If Jakes is not gay, he's the biggest "feminizer" in the OLD BLACK CHURCH!!!

AMAZED, you are stuck in a "maze"...

    4. Bishop Jake's is not gay, I sure wish church folks would put that rumor to rest.

    5. Might as well be gay...

For any man who claims to to be a bishop to make statements like the following:

“Ruth turns to Naomi and says “I shall not leave thee.” She makes her statement to this woman…that sounds somewhat, somewhere in between poetry, intimacy, and borders on lesbianism. People don’t even know how to explain what Ruth said to Naomi. It makes them uncomfortable. They’re afraid to talk about it. They don’t want to teach on it. Same thing with David and Jonathan…where there were same-sex relationships getting too close, people don’t even know what to say.”

is really really suspect to me.

YOU, like AMAZED, are stuck in a maze.

  4. Jake's has no clue about the bible. I can not believe some of the garbage he spouts. He does not even know that few people actually thought the world was flat. Ruth and Naomi were lovers? Get real. Ruth was Naomi's mother in law not her lover. David and Jonathan were lovers? Gee does every friendship have to include sex? What a crock.
