Jazmine Sullivan Is Getting Roasted Online For Facebook Post About The Death of Gospel Singer Thomas Clay!

Reader Jazmine Sullivan decided to post about the time she shut Gospel Singer Thomas Clay down when he was persistent in trying to get to know her. In my opinion, Jazmine Sullivan was probably in the wrong in what she said, or how she said it. But, I'm sure she had good intentions writing the post about the recently passed Gospel Singer but the internet is not giving her a pass. Many feel that her Facebook post memorializing Thomas Clay was in bad taste. Thomas Clay is the gospel artist who died in his sleep on Sunday.  Do you think that she was wrong? Anyway, people were not happy and they are dragging her behind...... Check it out below:

  1. Ms. Ann, I think people are taking what she said way out of context. I read what she wrote and in my opinion, she wasn't calling him thirsty. He did what a man does and tried to pursue her. She thought he was someone else until she found out it was him. She later wanted him to pursue her... It was actually a beautiful game of cat and mouse but he passed away before they could really get the chance to know each other. Some people choose to see negativity in things... I saw what she was really trying to say. It's ok Jaz..... keep your head up girl!

  2. Wasn't he married with a family?

    1. Ooops! (Hand on mouth)

But then again, these days gospel singers and secular singers lifestyles are blurred. You can't quite tell who they really are with all the need to see and be seen in the spotlight.

Walking the straight and narrow is not easy after you have been offered the glory of this world. Christians need to be careful not to turn the left or the right. And if it means leaving the spotlight, so be it. For the sake of the Kingdom of heaven it will be worth it.

It is sad that he died. But Miss Sullivan should have sealed her interaction with Clay (RIP) to herself (Proverbs 17:28 "...he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding."). You can't tell how this will play out especially if there were other thirsty ladies out there regardless of Clay's marital status.

The LORD is my Shepherd, I shall not want...

  3. No he was divorced and has a son

  4. Jaz wrote a beautiful tribute. People really need to get a life!
