A Shelter Require Homeless Women To Attend Megachurch And Tithe!!

Image
Reader this is a doggone shame, a homeless woman says a shelter required her to attend Church of the Highlands, even though a church where she was a member was about a block away.
A women's shelter in Birmingham requires all residents to board a
van and attended worship services at the Woodlawn branch of the Church of the Highlands each Sunday. They're not given the option to attend any other church. They're also required to tithe every week, despite being homeless.

Is This Disrespect To Buddhists Everywhere???

Reader, Buddhists slam Cristiano Ronaldo on social media after he posts ‘disrespectful’ photo of himself placing a leg on Buddha statue.  Disrespect is defined as a lack of respect or courtesy for another person, and it can take many forms. Whether intentional or unintentional, communicated through words or gestures, or done in secret or openly, disrespect can take various forms.

Anyhow, on Thursday, the soccer superstar incurred the wrath of Buddhists on social media after the Real Madrid star posed in an Instagram photo with his foot resting at the base of a Buddha statue. In the photo, also posted on his Facebook feed, the player's famous right foot is placed on top of the surrounding small wall of the statue, which is in the form of the head of the father of Buddhism.

Question: Is this a form of disrespect?

  1. Yes. Even though the man didn't realize it. It is disrespectful to All cultures. If he had his foot on the American flag, then Whites would be up in arms.

If he had his foot on the King Memorial, then Black folks would be calling for his "Spanish" behind (even though he's Portuguese).

Putting your foot on anybody or anything means that you feel like you're ABOVE the object or person or beliefs. If a person came to my apartment and put their FOOT on my chair or table, I would feel disrespected, shoes on or not. I would feel like they were being too familiar with me.
