More Americans Say That You Can Be Good Without God?

Image
Reader for the first time, a majority of Americans — 56 percent — say it is possible to be a good person without a religious belief. So says new Pew Research Center data drawn from two polls conducted among about 5,000 American adults in June and July. “God is not a prerequisite for good values and morality,” Greg Smith, Pew’s associate director of research, said in a post about the findings. ” … [T]he public’s increased rejection of the idea that belief in God is necessary for morality is due, in large part, to the spike in the share of Americans who are religious ‘nones.

Are Gospel Musicians Who Won't Perform At Night Clubs Hypocrites?

Reader, there some gospel musicians who think there is nothing wrong with performing at nightclubs with the sole purpose of winning souls for Christ, others strongly believe that nightclub is not the only venue to preach the gospel. “Change Over” singer Mary Agyemang has joined her colleagues who think there is nothing wrong for gospel musician to perform at a nightclub.

What do you think? Do you agree with her?

  1. Playing at the club. LOL... smh. People will use any excuse to dabble with the world and fill justified by saying, "Oh, I'm witnessing ya'll!" What a joke. Never will I ever play keyboards at a club, nightclub or whatever title they wanna tag on it. I've had invites and right then, that's when I do my witnessing. When you take on this pseudo false christian mixture junk that's going on, this gives all kinda space for the devil to creep in. Ain't nobody crazy. Don't play dumb. Ya'll know what's in the club. Folks trying hookup, fulfilling that flesh. Eph 4:27 Neither give place to the devil. 2 Cor 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

    1. @ Timezone,

True. Separating oneself from the world is a call of God. So there is no hypocrisy when a gospel singer excuses himself or herself from going to "witness" in the club.

The LORD is my Shepherd, I shall not want...
