A Shelter Require Homeless Women To Attend Megachurch And Tithe!!

Image
Reader this is a doggone shame, a homeless woman says a shelter required her to attend Church of the Highlands, even though a church where she was a member was about a block away.
A women's shelter in Birmingham requires all residents to board a
van and attended worship services at the Woodlawn branch of the Church of the Highlands each Sunday. They're not given the option to attend any other church. They're also required to tithe every week, despite being homeless.

Was It A TEST or Was It PUNISHMENT For The Family Research Council’s Tony Perkins?

Reader, when a disaster happens and it's to someone or something the religious right doesn't agree with, it's punishment. But when that same something happens to those on the religious right it's a test.  We're used to the religious right blaming natural disasters on homosexuality and abortion. Which has raised an important question on social media:  What message was God trying to send Tony Perkins over the weekend? Because the Christian Right leader's Louisiana home was flooded to the point where his family had to evacuate by canoe. I am not happy he lost his home, but I will freely admit to smiling at the irony a little.

  2. I can't stand people that do that. He wasn't affected during Katrina which my family and I lost everything then in New Orleans. I am not happy he lost his home too just as we lost everything again in this flood; but I hope he opens his eyes to truth that God will hold you accountable for everything you say. Please pray for all those affected by this.

  3. This flooding was man designed and God had nothing to do with it. We got so much rain here, it has been raining every day for 3 weeks, and we aren't under water. My husband was in New Orleans when Katrina hit, he said he heard a loud explosion. All of this is created by man, God has nothing to do with it.

    1. Exactly what do you mean April when you say it was man made? How can man make it to flood?
