Bishop Frank M. Reid Bid Farewell To Bethel AME Church In Baltimore!

Reader, today's Sunday worship services were the last sermon at Bethel AME for newly elected Bishop Frank M. Reid Jr. The new bishop gave his final sermon to the congregation at Bethel AME Church in Baltimore today. He has served as a minister at Bethel for 28 years. Bishop  Reid has been chosen as a bishop of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. The appointment is particularly historic because he will now follow in the footsteps of his grandfather and father, who were both bishops, also named Frank Madison Reid. Reverend Reid will lead the AME churches’ social justice mission. Congratulations to Bishop Frank Madison Reid III and family for almost 28 years of reminding saints in Baltimore that "God is still in charge" and the "power of a blessing."

  1. Wow, that would be hard to see your Pastor leave ,after all those years, but if God said go, you got to be obedient to whatever God tells you to do.
