Reverend William Barber II,‘Jesus was a brown-skinned Palestinian Jew’!

Reader, I have never heard Reverend Barber speak before last night.  Reverend William Barber II, president of the North Carolina NAACP and leader of North Carolina’s Forward Together movement, brought the house down last night at the DNC with one of the most earth-shattering speeches of the week. Reverend William Barber II talked about the heart of democracy on the last night of the DNC convention. He said “In this season, when some want to harden and stop the heart of our democracy, we are being called like our foremothers and fathers to be the moral defibrillators of our time. We must shock this nation with the power of love. We must shock this nation with the power of mercy. We must shock this nation and fight for justice for all. We can’t give up on the heart of our democracy. Not now, not ever.” Reverend William Barber II.

  1. This man is DUMD... SO WHAT!! All I know is that Jesus died for ALL of us. I don't care if he was bald and gray....LIKE ME! All I know is, I ONCE WAS LOST, BUT NOW I'M FOUND; BLIND, BUT NOW I SEE. It seems to me that many of the Blog commenter's/church folk really didn't LISTEN to nor GOT what Dr. Tony Evans was saying in his sermon on this subject. WHAT A SHAME and yes, I'm (SMH) HARD! Lord help! In Christ Alone, RLR.

    2. Anonymous stop with crazy. My favorite line ". . . those that say so much about that which God says so little, while saying so little about what God says so much." Christianity for the most part has gone of the rails. Barber is the REAL DEAL. HAHAHA! This sound just like you RLR.

    3. Anonymous you the one with the spirit of DUMB. This man has the spirit and oratory prowess of Frederick Douglass, Sojourner Truth, and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, looms large in this man. His words come from a long legacy of liberation theology that has sustained the black community in this country.

  2. Yes. And we must shock this nation into believing ALL of the scriptures out of the Bible and not ignore what is in those scriptures that makes us uncomfortable to read. ie:Book of Romans. And destroy false satanic doctrine like the Queens James bible written by the LGBT. Now this would have been earth-shattering. I wonder what the response would've been then from the crowd? He probably wouldn't been escorted off the stage. hahaha

  4. It is far more likely that Jesus was a brown skinned Palestinian Jew, rather than the Jesus in paintings by Europeans who painted him in their image; white, with brown hair.

Timezone what is there not to like about this message? "We must shock this nation with the power of love. We must shock this nation with the power of mercy. We must shock this nation and fight for justice for all. We can’t give up on the heart of our democracy, not now, not ever!" ~Rev. William Barber II

  7. OK, let me explain. If this man believes that God/Jesus would support this ungodly LGBTQ, LBGTQ, LTQGB..or whatever (HA! HA!), as well as some of these other issues we get so Laodicean about, then he IS dumb...or should I say ignorant? Yes, the problem is as Dr. Tony Evans said...some are still holding onto Great-Granddaddy's, Grand-daddy's, and Daddy's mentality and they were wrong. How about we look through the EYE's Of Jesus because HE is ALWAYS right and true. I can care less about the pictures they depict Jesus as being (as long as it's not Righteously offensive) because it doesn't have anything to do with our salvation. That's why (personally) I don't get caught up in this COLOR stuff. Throughout my military career, I have served in all types of Christian based church's in the US and overseas. I have associated with church's/Pastor'ed where I was the ONLY black person there as well as officiating weddings and working at a Funeral Home and ALL of the service's I officiated were for white families and I must say....They very much appreciated my Christ-like attitude. The black families usually had THEIR own church pastor. As Apostle Paul said..I know how to become like they are (NOT SIN OR MAKE MOCKERY OF THE GOSPEL) so that I might WIN some... &&&& I have NEVER encountered any type of racism. I wonder why?? Have I forgotten that I am a black man....REALLY?? Just being honest!! Therefore, again, ONLY JESUS! In Christ Alone, RLR

    1. Anonymous its amazing that people like you can't hear a message because of someone's race. He spoke of love and your comment is showing ignorance because of who he is. North Carolina is a disappointment holding on to hatred this long. Even with the guns, why does someone need military style guns at home. There is no need for them until it hits around your home. Praying g for the hatred in North Carolina. Get over it.

  8. Amen Brother. I once asked Ann was she a Christian or black first. She told me that when she starts being persecuted for being a Christian then she will be a Christian. I am dark skinned black man who faces his share of racism, no matter what, I am a Christian first. This is not a battle of flesh and blood

Ephesians 6:12 - 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

1 Corinthians 1-3 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ 2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. 3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?

    1. Ira Ayers if you don't like what Ms. Ann have to say why are you here? Personally I was blessed to watch this really inspiring presentation. A real class act. The Reverend does not normally seek out convention speaking and steers clear of candidate selection but Donald Trump was obviously enough to change his past positions. That was clear with him naming Trump only once. If I remember right. BK...

  10. The overarching purpose using this guy was served by the Democratic National Convention. Just in his introduction alone as he described himself as a theological conservative liberal evangelical biblicist, aligns right nicely with the Democrats agenda to induce a socialist public. There was no need for his personal proverb to say with distortion “those that say so much about that which God says so little, while saying so little about what God says so much” when we have been given the Word of God, preserved by God over centuries, that is the Christian’s roadmap for living, filled with the HIS proverbs and HIS, with tons of examples and principles for life, death, family marriage and children and grandchildren, conduct, worship, discipline and self-control, money, charity, etc. Can’t blame God’s revelation as lacking because mere man refuses to seek Him in all his ways, but instead turn to his own prowess and intellect. We can be moved all we want by the sensation of his speech. He was there to deliver for a cause and was successful according to many, but not for me. I know both these parties come across as opposing, but they are aligned together to serve a greater cause of wickedness. Who would have thought, we would ever see a gay man represented at the Republican National Convention. Peter Thiel, an
OPENLY gay man spoke at the Republican National Convention, and was greeted him with rounds of ovation. So now we have both parties represented to support this sin and abomination. The Bible calls it an abomination, and describes in detail leaving that which is natural, propelling many to become reprobates. No need for a cute little proverb from the Reverend William Barber on this one, even with all his credentials as a theological conservative liberal evangelical Biblicist. That title just sounds so DEMOCRATIC. The Bible is true. There is wickedness in high places. The devil is using his minions to usher in death and blasphemy to this nation and to the world. All the answers are in the all wise God of the universe, Creator of all, most compassionate, all powerful, all knowing and all seeing.

  11. Ok, everyone made good & decent comments except for the name calling stuff lol. I will digress a little but I will get right back on track. Every word I say is with humility as always and I'm not mad or fussing at anyone except satan cause he's the one I hate. I state what I believe according to the Bible and I do what I can to focus on the "devices" (2Cor 2:11) satan himself uses to manipulate & desensitize, people into believing the opposite of where this whole thing is headed. One can pick and choose from "any" speech that's given to find the good & bad. It’s different though when coming from a preacher. He did a good job, but when you dig deep and not be EMOTIONALLY driven by the hoopla that the New World Order dishes in the faces of the masses, you'll see what's really going on. The NWO are geniuses at making you believe what you see at these conventions are real and it drives one's EMOTIONS at a level to make you think if you vote for this individual or that person from the other side, everything is gonna be alright child. Now. Yes, we must someway shock the world with love, but we can't tolerate being cool with God's original creation being tampered with. Especially the foundation of who a man is and what a woman is and how we are to operate because this country and the entire world is in error and churches are backing it out of intimidation. Satan is crackin' his side laughing. Satan is especially laughing at those Christians who have soften their stance on what's holy and what's unholy. When I received a call from a church in ATL to play keyboards for them, the dude asked me what do I believe? Jesus only. He goes, well, we're a progressive church. Then he goes, out pastor is gay. I stopped him right there. I said bruh, I'm good, It’s all about the scriptures. Now is this "hate?" The LGBT & groups would say I HATE the LGBT for saying I refuse to help this church out. Individuals who back the LGBT say we all must not only love them, BUT we must be cool with every aspect of what they are trying to impose upon the masses & that includes deleting scriptures out of the Bible. They cannot get it out of their heads that when someone believes the LGBT is sin, that means hate in their eyes. Now for those who are saying I'm diverting away from the topic posted, sorry you’re off. It all connects together. This minister says we need to love. Yes, I agree. He says we need to share our food, pay people what they deserve and he goes on to say, "then your nation shall be called a repairer of the breach." hmmmm. I''m sorry ya'll, but when you're speaking to the WORLD, this is your opportunity to lay it ALL down and risk it all and your reward in Heaven will be off the chain. What needed to be added was 2 Chronicles 7:14; If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. The minister also says I’m a preacher, and I’m also a theologically, conservative, liberal, evangelical biblicist. What? Sounds as if he is eluding to the bumper stickers we’ve seen on a number of cars. Yep. Coexist. The devil is a lie. Why? Yes, we have to all live together, BUT John 14:6 says;” Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. The end is near. I’m amazed how people and ESPECIALLY saved folks are falling for this presidential stuff every 4yrs. Remember and for those who’ve never heard of this "Give me control of a nation's money and I care not who makes it's laws" — Mayer Rothschild. But most importantly, Yet I am the LORD your God from the land of Egypt, and you shall know no god but me: for there is no savior besides me. Hosea 13:4.
