Thanks Fantasia Burrino For Helping To Keep Gospel Music In The Forefront.

Reader, I never heard of this group before Fantasia live Facebook post. It's true we just never know what God has planned for us when we are thinking about giving up.  Fantasia took to Facebook Live the other night and sang Dennis REED & Gap song Necessary and the rest is history. The song was such a huge blessing to so many that it has gone viral and at the same time have shot new life into the group. With Fantasia posting it on her Facebook page has caused the song to shoot to number one on iTune. If you'd like to get the full song. Check out the full version on iTunes: Water Walker by Dennis Reed & Gap.

  1. Smh. Really Ms. Ann? Yea, it's a blessing to many alright. Fantasia stickin her breast out in a sensual sexual way ofcourse. Why? Record company and her folks saying "Baby girl, let's put you on the front cover like this." And we all saved and we know the Lord, right? Throw some Jesus in it and at the same time singing sensual secular love songs who ANYBODY can listen to in they bed room with their lover, married or not. Smh. The mixing and merging continues on and on and thinking God is cool with this. We'll all see....

    1. Really Time zone? Lets be fair here Fantasia is a Christian entertainer who's job is to entertain.

    2. And that's exactly what satan wants. To call yourself Christian and "entertain" the flesh to others at the sametime. Look at the photo. This promotes what? Lasciviousness. Enticing others in a lewd sexual way to promote one's sexual desires. And more than likely outside of marriage. And this is Christian? LOL... Am I in the Twilight Zone? No, I'm Timezone... lol. I'm trippin' right now on this. Are you serious Ms. Ann. Come on.. you gotta be kidding me right? If this was a blog on tmz or any other non-church website, I could understand.

  3. I don't know about you timezone, but after reading this blog for a few years it seems to me that Ms Ann does not have good discrenment of biblical right and wrong. If she thinks that picture is okay, where there is no biblical precendent for said picture but actually honest.

    1 Timothy 2:9 - In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;

  6. I'm lost on this one ya'll. I'm sticking with abstaining the best I can from the appearance of uncleanliness. 1 Thess 5:22 "Abstain from all appearance of evil." Take care.

    1. Thanks Ira Ayers. Look everybody, trust me, I ain't trying to act like I'm all that and perfect. When I say something dumb or out of line to my wife, I make sure I'm quick to repent and tell my wife I'm sooo sorry. I'm like, this mixing with the secular and then gospel... going back & forth back & forth. Kirk Franklin said, "For those of you who think that gospel music has gone too far." I RAISE MY HAND SKY HIGH!!! LOL.. Like I said before, I used to think when and still playing keys, it was cool to mix it up. Sing gospel one day then secular stuff the next day. Sing Lord I lift your name on high, then the next day, sing baby baby I wanna get you girl.... WHAT?!!!? Sorry but even if I stood along in this discussion, I'd just have to be all by myself. I can't be way off on this because there are so many other Christians who believe this foolishness is not of God. Sorry.

  8. Thanking you for your blog and having the opportunity to post. Speaking the TRUTH in LOVE. But wait, many people don't want to hear the TRUTH... an admonishment by God. People have itching ears to only hear what they want to hear. Timezone/Anonymous/others, I thank God that you are versed in The Word. Lord help us! A lot of our people are blind leaders of the blind..and they both will fall in the ditch. How is it that we (the church) can not discern Truth from Error. Sad! Listen, I have a 22 year old son who is in college majoring in Music/Theater/Dance as well as sings and plays piano... (pretty talented here in our community) if I may boast a little. LoL! Here's the thing, his focus is to head to New York when its all said and done. I pray for him daily that God will direct his footsteps because, personally, I DO NOT want him to get caught up in this Hollywood Christian lifestyle. I SAID PERSONALLY, but he is a young adult and has to make his own decisions. My wife and I have taught our 3 children by the Word as my father did me and my siblings (all 7 of us) ha! ha! Anyway, the thing that disturbs me is that (regarding this article) these so-called Christian entertainer's are usually Worldly and always looking for a crowd. Timezone, I'm sure that your pastor appreciates your gift just remain humble and always honor God. Jesus has called us to be IN the world but not of it. So, if my son ever strayed from the truth, believe me, I will counsel him with Godly correction. I will always LOVE my son but I am committed to God first. Am I suppose to let him go down a road of destruction....God forbid! You CAN NOT mingle (partake) with the world and think God approves of it. The devil is a lier and the father of lies...read the Word. As someone commented, I am convicted to Walk In The Spirit (Holy Spirit) and not fulfill the LUST(s) of the flesh. Thank God the Holy Spirit WILL keep us IF we let Him. So, this thing about singing for God in this entertainment industry (Star Search, The Voice, America's got talent, etc) is just a tactic to set you up for destruction. Ask yourself, do you think those people are wanting to submit to God? I know, Well, how are we going to reach them? Well, here is your answer, PRRACH THE GOSPEL. If this young lady would stand up and sing under the anointing and Power of God, THEN, you will witness HIS mighty outpouring. Other than that, you just have a beautiful voice without the CONVICTING Power Of God. I pray to God that we will Rend (submit) our hearts and not our garments. In Christ Alone, RLR.

  9. Thanks Ms Ann for posting this. What I Love about Fantasia is that she reaches sooooooo many people!! People that may not have stepped foot in a church and have only HEARD about God. And she brings them that much closer. The Bible says be fruitful, spread the gospel, save souls. She is doing it on the right Foundation. In the right season. With the right anointing. And the Holyghost!!!! Once again thanks!
