Bishop Corletta J. Vaughn: Jesus Did Not Exclude The Women.

Reader Bishop Corletta J. Vaughn is not to happy with the fact that women had been excluded from a meeting yesterday with Pastor Joel Osteen.

Pastor Joel came to Detroit a month early to tour the stadium and do a meet-and-greet with nearly 50 pastors and others to discuss his ministry and the event in a private session at the stadium’s Champions Club room.

  1. Anyone who wasnt invited should be thankful not to be included in any of Joel Olsteens gimmicks. The last thing Detroit needs is a Mega Church Pastor taking money from an already bankrupt crime ridden city. If 50 Detroit Pastors aint enough to turn the city upside down, Joel Olsteen preaching another "turn the other cheek" sermon sure aint gonna help it either.

Just sayin....count it all joy Sis Corletta that he left you and your women preacher buddies out of his "meeting".

  2. Couple of things that conscience me.

1: The fact that she calls Osteen a MAJOR FAITH LEADER is a joke all on its own.

2: From the few episodes that I saw of "Preachers of Detroit", SHOULDN'T she be focusing on trying to keep her marriage together instead of trying to find out who got invited to a FAKE preachers meeting.

3: Wayne T Jackson from the humping consecration ceremony? REALLY???

  3. Stop taking Jesus out of context... He didn't not appoint women in leadership over men... We're good at saying what Jesus did but ignore what the Scriptures says... He never did anything contrary to the Word...

    2. Exactly
Not ONE current woman preacher follows the below text from Titus 2:3-5

Similarly, teach the older women to live in a way that honors God. They must not slander others or be heavy drinkers.[a] Instead, they should teach others what is good. 4 These older women must train the younger women to love their husbands and their children, 5 to live wisely and be pure, to work in their homes,[b] to do good, and to be submissive to their husbands. Then they will not bring shame on the word of God.

It annoys me you claim to be called to be a women Bishop but not one older woman (including the women Bishop) honors Titus 2:3-5

When these women preachers start teaching the younger ladies, perhaps I'll give them an non-biblical endorsement which wont mean nothing!
