More Americans Say That You Can Be Good Without God?

Image
Reader for the first time, a majority of Americans — 56 percent — say it is possible to be a good person without a religious belief. So says new Pew Research Center data drawn from two polls conducted among about 5,000 American adults in June and July. “God is not a prerequisite for good values and morality,” Greg Smith, Pew’s associate director of research, said in a post about the findings. ” … [T]he public’s increased rejection of the idea that belief in God is necessary for morality is due, in large part, to the spike in the share of Americans who are religious ‘nones.

Question, Is It Possible To Be A Christian And Be A Psychic At The Same Time?

Reader, I didn't know "Christian psychics" were a thing... until I read this. The moment you see the claim a person is "Psychic" you can pretty much guarantee that they are either a fraud‬ of some sort or they are in communication with demonic beings. In either case, they DEFINITELY do not qualify as ‪Christian‬ in the "born again" sense of the ‪Bible‬. There is NO such thing as a "Christian Psychic." Psychics get their misinformation from familiar spirits and Christians who are TRUE prophets get revelation from God. Don't get it twisted!

  3. This is why saints must know their bible. Somethings God wont tell us because its either not the right time for revelation or He wants us to walk by faith. This is an occult practice which is demonic.

  4. Even though a lot of these practises are laid out in the Old Testament, Paul echoes some of the same things as works of the flesh in the New Testament:

Galatians 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Channeling, witchcraft etc. require idolatry (summoning gods/spirits) for those to work.

Ephesians 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

    1. There are many cases through the bible where people receive visions. And in Corinthians it talks about gifts from God. Nobody including myself can tell you if it's a gift or not. The important thing is to receive Jesus as your savior and the rest is up to God.

  5. Simple....No. We are not to consult the dead or know the things that are hidden. The Bible is crystal clear on this.

  6. You can be a Christian and a Psychic. Seems like psychics may have the gift pf prophecy. As a Catholic, we call people with these particular gifts mystics. It is not sinful. It makes saints. But divination, as some "psychics" practice, is sinful. It does not sound like Brian Carn practice divination at all!

  7. So true anonymous...even though the Holy Spirit gives gifts only to believers so to edify the body of Christ, we all know a psychic and sorcerers and those who contact the dead are at times saved, and can be endowed by the Spirit to possess the gift of prophesy...amen anonymous...
