Trump says he’s fulfilled his promises to Christians, but he really means white evangelicals

Image
Reader according to The Washington Post, it sounds like 45 will be fulfilling no more campaign promises made to white conservative evangelicals. I repeat, in "my opinion", white conservative evangelical Christians are among the very worst people this country has every produced. Given half a chance, they would re-institute slavery, stone women to death in the streets for adultery (but never the men), legalize rape, execute homosexuals en masse, cart Jews off to the gas chambers, and set the world on fire all in the name of their god. We know this because they tell us that's what they want to do. They're proud of their hate until you call them monsters. Then you're attacking their faith and they're being "persecuted."

Kierra Sheard Clap Back At Her Critics.

Reader award-winning gospel singer Kierra Sheard has hit back at critics of her plans to release a series of secular music covers.

You can read it here:

  1. I love how people can be critical when a Gospel artist takes a song that is secular and make it godly, but when it's the other way around no one complains. Now thinking back did others criticize Kanye when he made Jesus walks? That song was able to be played on both stations and also help those that who were not church goes find God. I wish people would stop holding or comparing these Gospel artist so close to God.

  2. Kierra has clapped back at nothing. I remember way back when I used to be in the circuit, and at the moment when I getting ready to play keys, I would over hear a "well-known" gospel artist talking. Ya'll have no idea... It's sick. Half of these jokers ain't saved. They wanna compromise and dabble with the world and satan. They wanna just get paid and Kierra uses the word "balance." The Word is clear, Jesus is the way, truth and the life. Period. These games have to stop or there will be misery when it's said and done for those playing church.

  3. Kierra has done secular covers before but changed up the words. Kim Burrell the Love album is secular covers given a Godly twist - though some you would not know that.

  4. She's been pushing the envelope for some time now. But I've always attributed it to her trying to please her parents while also doing the music that she really wants to do. Additionally, what's wrong with singing love songs for a living? Why does the church get so up in arms over respectful r&b music? It's all ridiculous to me.

    1. Right anonymous..nothing wrong with respectful R&B, heavy metal rock, blues, funk, rap and hop hop. Not a thing wrong with bring these genre of music into the presence of a holy and sacred God.

    2. It's already happening, despite your resistance. And where does the bible differentiate between genres of music? The words, the message, and the intent are what matters. Don't like it, then don't buy it or attend the churches that welcome it. But one thing is for certain, they won't miss you!

    3. Very astute Anonymous. You implied with your silly little questions, "what's wrong with singing love songs for a living? Why does the church get so up in arms over respectful r&b music?" it's okay to do music that way. I'm saying like you...there's nothing wrong with respectful R&B, heavy metal rock, blues, funk, rap and hop hop. Not a thing wrong with bring these genre of music into the presence of a holy and sacred God. Now help me out and give me just a little bit of Bible to substantiate this view.

And BTW, YOU are so wrong. Oh yeah. They will miss me. They will miss me telling them the truth about how music should be done. See more of my comment to Timezone below. MELODY, my friend. MELODY...

    1. Timezone... I was kidding when I said "nothing wrong with respectful R&B, heavy metal rock, blues, funk, rap and hop hop." Each of these genre of music is worldly, and has its own unique style as to the effect it has on people. I am going to rant again like I've done before to say Paul admonishes us to sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs. He is not talking about genres of music we should copy from the world, but rather songs as they are composed and arranged to glorify God - "new songs". He continues on in the verse saying making "MELODY" in your hearts. A song is composed of melody, lyrics, harmony and rhythm. Paul used the word "melody", that for spiritual songs should be mainly emphasized, the lyrics should be biblical, the harmony should only accompany the melody (unlike a lot of Black gospel music where harmony is emphasize) and the rhythm should be subtle as background only for all songs to be spiritual.

For ROCK music, where the "big rhythmic beat" is the main emphasis(not the melody), you get Frank Zappa saying about his very own music "“Rock music is sex. The big beat matches the body’s rhythms”. Or Missy Elliot saying about Rap in her very own album the song So Addictive,” is “a seductive cocktail of quirky rhythms and hypnotic beats.”, and Tina Turner saying “Rock and roll is fun, it’s full of energy ... It’s naughty”, and BLUES music described as “sexually syncopated sounds”.

God is not quirky. God is not naughty. And none of these characteristics of any genre of music should be a part of our "new song". Kim, Kirk, Yolanda, Kee-Kee, Donnie, Israel, Hezekiah, and many other are deceived. They have rationalized their greed under the guise of some weird type of spirituality. THESE folks are anti-hymn because they want to usher in a new sound, not a new and spiritual song. Their attempt tp mix that which is holy with the profane is a strong indication of the type "Christian" they profess to be. Many like LeAndria are so confused, they not only indulge in sin, but accept their evil as righteous.

    2. You're reaching! Apply this logic to your life only & stop trying to control others with your personal interpretations. You don't know these people's hearts.

    3. And you stop trying to control me...and as usual your kind...without any Bible verse...just doing a drive by...

  6. You are so on point. And to the Anonymous one that says we're reaching. Nope. Not at all. We're not trying to control anyone's life. Promise. We just are following the Word of God. I was part of the group as a keyboardist that thought it was cool to mix secular tracks into gospel. Wrong. It was weird how I was never ever able to go off into worship and create something on the fly musically while the lead singer was singing and ushering in his presence. Now, I stopped this foolishness of mixing and merging in the secular. Now folks come up and say, dude, "How did you come up with that line brother?"! I tell them it was the Holy Spirit. The different genres of music and styles or "ok" and I use that loosely because it can usher in a spirit that's not of the Lord. Trust me, I've seen it. But this mess of taking an original track from say Drake and trying to make it sacred won't work because out in the audience or congregation, subconsciously the entire audience itself got that Drake track on their minds and Jesus at nowhere in the picture.

  8. This is a subject I could be on all day. Right before I start playing keys and my wife sings, we pray that we do not entertain or "showboat." Is it that serious you ask? YES. Because you can go all over youtube and see the FOOLISHNESS of what ministers are allowing in churches nowadays. Look, I helped a church out TWICE and I was outta there later. This "Bishop" (can't stand that title now, lol) wanted me to use a tone from a hip hop song and throw some Jesus in it. I said, sir, I respectfully don't do that sir. This joker was like WHY?! Here I am just a keyboardist in a church ministering to a BISHOP as to why I believe we need to basically ask the Lord to help us create our own musically material instead of grabbing stuff from the world that Satan has his hands all over it. Remember satan was the worship leader in Heaven and he knows how to lure himself into any type of music if you aren't prayed up and you just get together with a group of singers and start jammin' and nothing is established.

  9. Oh.. and I've seen the "people's hearts" And I do mean big name gospel artist....It's absolutely crazy. I'll say this. There was a big convention in Atlanta and my wife knew one of the workers at this particular hotel. She found it amazing how the online activity of watching Porn WENT THROUGH THE ROOF everytime there is a Gospel music worship convention!! Now keep in mind these are christian folks in their hotel rooms. Again, this is a spec of what's going on folks.

    1. Timezone...this is the anonymous who said I was joking about the musical genres. I always enjoy you comments. A++:)) I believe you when you talked about the spec of what's going on in the "black gospel music" cult. Loose spirituality leads to loose sensuality. I am not surprised about by your statement about potbelly at all...
