Is Belief In The Trinity Necessary For Salvation?
Reader "Is Belief In The Trinity Necessary For Salvation?" I will answer that with "No." One does not have to beleive in the Trinity to be saved. But, a healthy realization of the Trinity is crucial for the kind of Christian life we lead as believers and for the kind of church-life we experience. Also, to me if you don’t believe in the Trinity, then you don’t understand who God is. You may say the word “God” but you don’t understand His nature. Second, you couldn’t possibly understand who Christ is—that He is God in human flesh. The Incarnation of Christ is an essential component of the biblical gospel, as John 1:1-14 and many other biblical passages make clear. To deny the Trinity is to deny the Incarnation. And to deny the Incarnation is to wrongly understand the true gospel.
In these last and evil days, there are many who will be deceived, folks need to study the word for themselves so that they will/can not be deceived in the end. I hate it when people say the Trinity is false doctrine. I suggest folks get away from the electronic Bible (distraction) and get themselves a (better retention) paper Bible and read, read, read. The young man in the video is Marcus Roger, a very popular guy on Facebook who releases inspirational motivational religious videos. They are high energy and very popular (especially among women). His foundational beliefs just came to light as of last week when he released a statement and video denouncing the Trinity as a false doctrine (both getting a combined 7K likes). He currently has just under 40K followers on his page. This is the same teaching that many in the Christian community came for Bishop Jakes and Bishop Noel Jones over.
According to Marcus, the people who believe in the trinity put limits on God, but God's power is limitless. They don't believe three beings could exist in one. Even though the word clearly says all throughout the bible they're one, but since their minds can not figure God out they put limits on Him.
