Whatcha' Say, Multiethnic Churches Affect Race Views!

Reader, this article on race and diversity in the Church is fascinating and important. It seems that blacks involved in white churches become more convinced racial issues are rooted in individuals than structures (that is, they embrace the white narrative).

  1. One questions: Where in the bible does it talk about race or a racial divide amongst churchs?

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. Gal 3:28

So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. Rom 12:5

For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. 1Cor 12:12

    Romans 16:17-18 (KJV)
17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. 18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

    1 Corinthians 3:1-3 (KJV)
1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.
2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. 3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?

    1 Corinthians 11:17-19 (KJV)
17 Now in this that I declare unto you I praise you not, that ye come together not for the better, but for the worse. 18 For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it. 19 For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.

    1 Timothy 1:4 (KJV)
4 Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.

  2. This is why I personal frown on so call diverse churches.....African Americans start to think more like whites, instead of changing the thinking of whites......we start to embrace their foolish ideas on abolition and same sex marriage....and forget all about the social ills that affect our community....like high unemployment, discrimination on every level, hungry, the school to prison pipeline....white americkkk don't care about these things because they don't effect them in any kind of way.

    1. Its true actually because in diverse churches, whites lead and their preferences are dominant. The most successful is when both cultures merge, that's Gods way. For one race to be like the other race is assimilation, mans way and the word as$ is in the word. Take it for what the word is worth.
