Trump says he’s fulfilled his promises to Christians, but he really means white evangelicals

Image
Reader according to The Washington Post, it sounds like 45 will be fulfilling no more campaign promises made to white conservative evangelicals. I repeat, in "my opinion", white conservative evangelical Christians are among the very worst people this country has every produced. Given half a chance, they would re-institute slavery, stone women to death in the streets for adultery (but never the men), legalize rape, execute homosexuals en masse, cart Jews off to the gas chambers, and set the world on fire all in the name of their god. We know this because they tell us that's what they want to do. They're proud of their hate until you call them monsters. Then you're attacking their faith and they're being "persecuted."

Now A Days We Will Promote And Sell Anything From The Pulpit!

Readers, would you find it acceptable or unacceptable for a pastor to plaster advertisement of his latest CD or book all over the pulpit? What about promoting his latest book or CD from the pulpit right before he or she preach? The thought is disgusting, but it is happening all the time, and some on social media are starting to pointing this out and objecting to the commercial corruption of the pulpit.

  2. You know there does seem to be a trend of pastors promoting books instead of His Book. I have read some very good books written by pastors, but I have a hard time believing anyone ever had to promote their book from the pulpit. That reminds me the time I walked through a convention center with C. Dollar's book sales in the entry way. I saw dozens of books with no mention of Jesus anywhere. There were however, many large posters displaying the author. That told me a great deal about who the author thought was more important.

    1. I like the way you put it..."promoting books instead of His Book". Like the way you capitalized "His"...These guys and gals are all false prophets who "are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter."

I'm waiting for TD or Creflo or Hinn or Copeland preach a sermon on the text aforementioned or

Matthew 7:15 "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves."

      or

2 Peter 2:2 "But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction."

Now that sermon I may pay to see...

  3. Never knew this was going on. Glad I'm aware of it now. Can't imagine Jesus doing this. These so-called 'pastors' don't seem to fear God.

  4. The pulpit by no means should be used as a stepping stone of personal gain other that of spirituality and to speak the truth of God. We should not have the attention put on us but on the glory of God.

  5. People have been selling items in churches for years?

  6. This is the very definition of a PULPIT PIMP.
PIMPING their products FROM THE PULPIT for their own personal gain.

If you tried to sell some of your products at most other jobs before a meeting you most likely will be told to stop, citing a conflict of interest.

Could you imagine Jesus saying this,

"Before I start my "sermon on the mount" I would like you to PURCHASE my latest CD about to drop. Don't forget to check out track number 3, It's dope.

  7. They don't care, all about them for now. ..ITS NOT WORTH ETERNITY IN THE LAKE OF FIRE....

  8. How is this commercial corruption of the pulpit? I'm asking out of curiosity because I feel if you accuse someone of something you should give reasoning behind it.

    1. Are you that blind that you can't see that CD in the bishop hand? He's promoting his music.Geesh some folks are just darn stupid.

    2. Stupidity is name calling in respinse to a simple question. What is your definition of commercial corruption? Did you hear the CD? Does it promote anything other than the word?
