Using The Church As A LaunchPad For Your Brand?

Reader's isn't the Church already "branded?" Sometimes I want to think the 21st-century Christian church whole focus has now shifted from gaining souls for the kingdom of God, to gaining and keeping customers.

The American Marketing Association defines a brand as a "name, term, sign, symbol or design, or a combination of them intended to identify the goods and services of one seller or group of sellers and to differentiate them from those of other sellers." In layman's terms, that means whatever you call your congregation, as well as whatever symbol you use or whatever design you incorporate into all your signage, letterhead, presentations and building areas, distinguishes your church from all others.

  1. If your church/pastor is attending a conference to find ways to expand their brand like other businesses

Then your church/pastor needs to study to find out Exactly what is evangelism.

    And evangelism is NOT
    MARKETING your church logo,
    Reinventing the current brand,
Finding ways to increase the churches business portfolio & income.

  2. Last I checked.... A bondservant is not their own business.
