I am So SICK Of These Fake Christian Movies!

Reader's it is a very dangerous thing to speculate about things the Bible is silent on. We may find ourselves violating the very nature of God in doing so. God knows the reason why there is only one Biblical account of Jesus's childhood. I can only imagine the erroneous implications this movie will make about Jesus and His nature.

As a Christian, it'll be interesting to see what they base most of the movie off. once the story of the nativity is finished, the gospels jump straight into Jesus' ministry......go figure.

  1. Anne Rice wrote this book after she returned to the Catholic Church and renewed her faith (according to her own statements--I obviously don't know her personally). It was meant to be the first of a 4-part series on Jesus' life. This book is an historical fiction of Jesus from the age of 7-8, and it's an interesting read, but not super impactful. After the second book was released, Rice cancelled the rest of the series to avoid controversy.

    1. The book was very good, I am looking forward to the film. Yes, it's a bit of fiction, but with enough biblical and historical content to make it relevant. (Love Anne Rice!)

  2. .....the idea might sound nice on the outside but I can see this movie being a form of false prophecy and blasphemy. There is a reason why Christs adolescence isn't mentioned in the bible. Now a flock of unbelievers is going to believe this Hollywood fictional story.

    1. Marsha, I agree. In my opinion this film is Biblically inaccurate... The storyline of this film is that young Jesus, healing and working miracles, comes into the knowledge that He is the Son of God - just like Clark Kent discovers his powers and later becomes Superman. But this is contrary to God's Word... The eternal Father and the eternal Son had an eternal relationship before Jesus took upon Himself the form of a man. Please read John 5:19-27, particularly verse 23 where Jesus teaches that the Father sent the Son (also see John 15:10). Jesus did not become the Son of God when He was born in Bethlehem. He has always been the Son of God from eternity past, still is the Son of God, and always will be... This film should be banned for heresy!

    2. there is no ways this movie could be biblically accurate because the bible does not give much of the messiah, childhood. I don't advise any serious Christian to go see this movie. I can't believe this.

    1. Even the name Messiah is a black name. Not to put color on the block but can't Hollywood come up with new concepts ? Which in turn would be the truth written about the people of that era ? Which we know would be people Of color, because Caucasians didn't travel to that region as of yet... Am I wrong? IJS!

  4. Because something is not mentioned in the Bible does not automatically make it inaccurate. We know that the majority of the gospels only refer to Jesus's adult life. Think about it, if the purpose of the gospels is to show the divinity of Jesus, including his childhood wouldnt present the neatest of pictures because children are not nearly as composed as adults. If a movie can shake someones faith, Im not surr there is much there.

  5. I am rather exhausted of these movies as well.

Seems like they want to make a quick buck off of Christians.

So they make up some stories, embellish a bit of scripture and title it "Jesus, the untold story"

Best case: it MIGHT lead people to read about the truth of Jesus instead of made up fiction.

    Worse case: BLASPHEMY
