Pastor Rick Warren Shows Us How The Megachurch Handles Racism!

Readers, saying "All Lives Matter" as a response to "Black Lives Matter" is missing the point. White lives do matter, but that has never really been in contention. Yesterday, Pastor Rick Warren posted the above pic to his Facebook page, for which he got called out for. Someone have suggested that maybe Pastor Rick, need to educate himself more on the Black Lives Matter movement before posting ignorant comments to social media.

Question: should the church be a much stronger voice in standing against the racism, hate and brutality in our country?

  1. This is not black versus white or cop versus civilian. This is a time of Christians versus non-Christians.

    Ephesians 6:12King James Version (KJV)

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

  2. Black Lives Matter has no agenda but to go from city to city and protest deaths that occurred after most of these individuals were involved in crimes that led to them having an interaction with law enforcement. They need to work on the root problem with these individuals getting to the point that they are committing crimes and I have yet to see a BLM protest about the horrendous death tolls in Baltimore and Chicago as a result of Black on Black Crime. When they start doing that, then perhaps they can show these young men doing the killing why Black lives really matter, because obviously they don't get it. And as a Christian I agree wholeheartedly with Rick Warren, this is a SIN problem. The moment we take our eyes off the cross we fall prey to less than holy thinking and actions, no matter the race.

  3. Anonymous, Black lives matter has done, and is about much than protesting deaths. And even if they were only about it so what!? Do lives not matter or is deaths of un armed men not on your agenda enough to care today? And most of them were NOT involved in crimes that led them to having an interaction with law enforcement. Most of them are/were peacefully protecting the rights they were not afforded. How dare you equate what the police are doing to "black on black crime." When did it become okay to say "Well they have gangs so may as well let the biggest gang in the country have open season on them?" I hate racist thought processes.

  4. Not a big Rick Warren fan.Satan is known for telling part of the truth...
