Is This Event Like A Step Towards The One World Religion??

Image
Reader thanks to Forerunner Chronicles Christopher Hudson for this post. What are your thoughts on this event? Forty plus speakers from around the world and across the streams of Christianity as they gather to seek the Lord for Unity and Revival as Jesus prayed in John 17, 'so the world will know him'.

Tearing Down The Graven Images, "The Confederate Flag"!

Readers, the Confederate Flag is a hot button issue today. What do you think of when you see the confederate flag? What message do you think it is sending? Racism? Slavery? Hatred? White supremacy? or something  worse? Bishop Eric Freeman posted a wonderful essay to his Facebook page   that a lot of Christians agree with:

In ALL honesty, each of the nine victims carried the same horror of every African-American concerning the deadly connotations of the confederate flag. And this killer, standing under its banner, brought to bear the fruit of the graven image so many calls "heritage". To suggest that an African-American speaking to the terror of this graven image is somehow a rebel rouser (pun intended), borders on abusive! Let's unify under the banner of Christ. Let's tear down the graven images. Let's grieve honestly.

Let's repent as a nation. Let's watch as well as pray. And everywhere we SEE the graven images of bigotry, hatred, and racism let us cry aloud and spare not. Rest here

  1. The American Civil war has to be the only war were "THE LOSER" displays their flag proudly as if they won the war.

The flag should have been done away with a long time ago.
    (And by long time, I don't mean 1970's or 1950's. I mean 1860's)

If you visit Germany today you'll be hard pressed to find a swastika flag anywhere (especially flying over on a government owed building).
You won't find people driving down "Hitler street"
    Living in "Adolf Hitler estates"

But yet in our country if you never knew who won the civil war and went to visit parts of the Deep South, it would be difficult to tell that the Confederates lost.

It's time to put the flag to rest.

    1. Cop, I believe it's time to retire this symbol of hate to a museum some were far, far away. It's a symbol of the worst possible crime - racism When I see the Confederate flag, I see racism, oppression and rebellion against freedom, against contemporary ideals of equality and human rights in the USA.
