Question: Is Homosexuality The Only Sin That's An Abomination To God??

Am I missing something here with this marquee? Shouldn't all sinners repent or else find their soul in hell? I don't get it, folks keep trying to label one sin worse than another??  I know the Bible says homosexuality is a sin, but it also says there's only one sin that is unforgivable. That is the sin of not believing and not receiving/accepting Jesus Christ into your life.

Let's be real here, Christians would do well to take note of what God labels abominations. Such things, be they actions, attitudes or objects, have no place in the life of a follower of Jesus Christ. Some of the most notable abominations before God include:
1).Dishonesty (Proverbs 12:22).
2). Arrogant pride (Proverbs 16:5).
3).Ignoring God's law (Proverbs 28:9).
4).Devising evil and sowing discord (Proverbs 6:16-19).
5). Eating what the Bible calls “unclean” animals (Leviticus 11:8, 11, 13, 23).
6). The act of homosexuality (Leviticus 18:22).

  1. I agree all have sinned and all must repent. The sign doesn't exactly lie, but it also doesn't present a true, helpful message.

  2. All of us must repent… none of us is without sin.

    1. I agree but why the fixation on homosexuals only? I’m not saying people can’t believe it’s a sin, or have an opinion. I’m just wondering why so many people are fixated on this particular sin when there are millions of other sins, but people aren't barred from churches because of those. Can someone please explain this to me?

    2. Because homosexuality is on the rage and I don't know if you've noticed but the church and Christianity as a whole is literally under attack by the LGBT community. There are millions of other sins, but if you say you are a Christian and own an establishment guaranteed it's only a matter of time before your faith will be tested by one of them. It's the reality we're dealing with today in this country.

    3. Oh, and Blaspheming the Holy Spirit is the only unforgivable sin... There are big sins and little and little sins but they all have the same impact... they further separate you from God. At the end of the day, Homosexuality is brought up more because more and more people are starting to think it's possible to be homosexual and fully serve the Lord...

    4. Well the church was under attack by crabs, crawfish, catfish, and shrimp along time ago, and no one has said a mumbling word. And preachers have the audacity to wear blended fabrics while preaching the very scriptures that condemns wearing it smh...they are attacking the very foundation of the church! Kill'em! And why get upset about the cops murdering these disobedient children? The bible told you as parents to stone them. Since you won't... the law must be upheld at all costs wouldn't you agree? I mean that's what many of us live by. Jesus??? What who is He? All that you live by the law then you die by the law crap... don't mean nothing I guess. IJS

  3. God rained down fire and brimstone upon Sodom & Gomorrah as an example of how he hates the sin of homosexuality (Jude 7). There is no other example in the bible where God rained down fire on sinners, yet he hates all sin. And all sinners will be judged by God in the end times. Plus the worse thing in the world are sexual perverts using the bible like they really know what it is saying. They don't even study the bible, they hate it.
