Why Didn't Tasha Cobbs Show Up For The Woman of Gospel Event In Toronto Canada Last Night? Was It About The Money?

Reader, there are two sides to every story. People have heard one side and have become the judge, the jury, and the executioner. You cannot come to a conclusion just based off of one party allegedly telling the truth-that is nonsense.

Anyhow rumors are being put forth on social media that Tasha Cobb refused to perform last night in Canada, because the venue hosting the event didn't have all her money.   What is in the dark, always comes to light.

Listen Up Franklin Graham Running Away From A Police Taser Will Get You Killed!

For me, this latest incident of police killing an unarmed black man is proof positive some folks really do live in a bubble. Readers do Y'all remember that ugly thoughtless and demeaning comment made by Christian Leader Franklin Graham last month via social media, and cosign by many of his followers? (If not you can read it here.)
I'm hoping folks like Franklin Graham, can now see that people who are not resisting the police are being killed, why?   It doesn't matter running' hands up' laying down' handcuffed' while being choked to death' hands out' hands on the  steering  wheel' hands on a darn sandwich. A racist murdering coward don't give a care  about none of that.  Walter Scott didn't deserve to be shot down like an animal.

  1. Franklin Graham Facebook:

Saturday there was another tragic shooting of an African American by a police officer who has now been charged with murder. This death was unnecessary and avoidable. Unfortunately many in our society are faced with racial injustice, hatred, and bigotry from those who are in authority, and this needs to be addressed. My post a few weeks ago about obeying law enforcement was meant to underscore the importance of trying to avoid more harm and loss of life. As a father and a grandfather, this is the advice I have given my own children. If you find yourself in an altercation with police, show respect and obey their instructions. Once a bullet leaves the barrel of a gun, there is no calling it back. I am praying for the family of Walter Scott and this community, and I hope you will join me. We need to come together as a nation and with God’s help, address these critical issues for the sake of our future.

    1. Anonymous didn't know Mr. Graham had even posted about this killing. I take his comment to mean that he approves the actions of the police officer who MURDERED Mr. Scott in broad daylight.

    2. Lord have mercy Anonymous, I don't know if he approves of the killing but his advice to his white grandchildren wont help any black or brown folks cause their interactions with the police are vastly different...not that he would know this since he lives in a bubble.

    3. There's a segment of white America that still holds dear to a Leave it to Beaver type view of police. In the case of the South Carolina shooting, there are some funny characters who after seeing the video of the shooting, planting of evidence and the cop lying on the report still have the gall to say: "by golly gosh darn it, if that man had only followed police orders he'd still be alive". There's a lot of work to do.

  2. There is such a division within The body Of Christ because of political views like this racists red neck of a pastor.

  3. To the blog owner I agree with you! This was a MURDER with the cop planting evidence at the crime scene. Franklin Graham is a Klansman at heart and it hurts his little feelings to think others are not bowing down and scrape to the lowlifes like he and his followers.

  4. Ann Franklin Graham statement is weak sauce to me. He can't get through the whole things without justifying his previous bad statement. I don't like it.

  5. I'm reminded of the "christian leaders" to whom Dr. King wrote his letter from Birmingham jail. It's disappointing, enraging, and tempts one to numbness all at the same time. Somehow, though I'm not sure how, let's search for hope that enablers and defenders of oppression will not only be persuaded of the desperate need for change, but also that they would join us in an ever expanding movement for justice.

  6. Franklin simply stating in his post that racial issues need to be addressed does not mean he have attempted to address anything. He just said a sentence.I'm just saying!

  7. Ms. Ann, this comment is better than his previous comments, but I think it could still go a lot further. If he is condemning the murder of #WalterScott then he's being real indirect and vague about who is at fault in the situation, and what the "critical issues" are that need to be addressed. I think if he would've made it clear that his fatherly advice doesn't work for a lot of Black people in our society, then I wouldn't feel like he's still holding on to that uninformed view from his previous post.

  8. Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly. -MLK
