Why Didn't Tasha Cobbs Show Up For The Woman of Gospel Event In Toronto Canada Last Night? Was It About The Money?

Image
Reader, there are two sides to every story. People have heard one side and have become the judge, the jury, and the executioner. You cannot come to a conclusion just based off of one party allegedly telling the truth-that is nonsense.

Anyhow rumors are being put forth on social media that Tasha Cobb refused to perform last night in Canada, because the venue hosting the event didn't have all her money.   What is in the dark, always comes to light.

Jesus Take The Wheel: "Allegation" Of Corruption In The Church Greater Grace Temple!

When a pastor or a church member hurt us, our very first action should be one of prayer. But, of course, that's not always the case. For some, it's to upload a video clip to social media. A lot of times, when we experience hurt in church folks L O V E  to tell us that we have no reason to feel bad and we just need to get over it. The hurt we feel is real and to pretend like you aren’t hurt isn’t going to bring healing.

This is an interesting account of a young woman who was in her words "black balled" from the Church. What are your thoughts? What could have led to this? Are there times when people need to be sat down in ministry? If so what is the proper way to do it? And what is a reasonable reason to tell someone their attendance at church is Not Required?

With an allegation of corruption being leveled against his church and congregation by a disgruntled "pew sitter". Preachers of Detriot Bishop Charles Ellis lll, has taken to his social media page to pen a note about the alleged incident. In a video uploaded to social media, March 14, 2015 by Dyamond Moore, in which she accuses the 1st lady's secretary and the church head armor bearer of blackballing her from the church? You can read the note here and watch the clip here.

  1. Lord help us we need to pray for the body of Christ. God is on his way soon. This foolishness needs to stop!

    1. I pray that God equips this young woman with whatever she needs to be able to serve the Body of Christ, and go forward in ministry, despite what ACTUALLY happened at her church. I'm NOT condoning this young lady's posting of this video; her version of what occurred; or any maltreatment of anyone involved. She's clearly hurt and broken and needs to be empowered and strengthened. And, that's where intercessory prayer and support come in.
I KNOW people who have been blackballed by churches. It's a common and demonic practice that has to STOP. It's NOT Christian or Biblical. Hence, I pray for the souls of the people who execute such wickedness. On the flip side, I KNOW people who have unfairly and/or unjustifiably bad-mouthed churches because the negativity and mess in which they were once involved and heavily apart of, backfire on them. Those persons, also, need prayer.
Whatever comes from this situation, I pray that EVERYONE involved gets the spiritual enrichment they need.

    2. Obviously the decision of leadership not to use her in a delicate position in the church was correct. All of this hoopla because you can't serve in a position you feel you deserve. Nonsense.

    3. This just to stop I believe Bishop is doing a great job we all are human. I pray this young lady finds her way and grow up

  2. People need to be exposed and brought out well dragged out their little hiding places I say snatch the covers off don't ever hold back what thus sayeth the Lord, If it's what the spirit says. It's time to start turning tables over on these thieves.

  3. I love this young lady boldness in exposing the enemy and his tactics for what they truly are.

    1. I saw the video and read some of the 200+ comments. Going by her behavior of exposing them, she is NOT fit for armour bearer ministry. That ministry is very intimate to the first lady and pastor.
People are quick to applaud her for being a rebel but who knows what happened. Something could have happened after the meeting that made them arrive, at the decision to leave such a strong message. I do not agree with them leaving her a voicemail.

    2. I think she is upset about the way she was told. To leave a meeting and then get a phone message! What is a amour bearer? More importantly, what's not a armour bearer? If they wanted her to keep secrets of wrong doings and things contrary to the by-laws of the church then I applaud her! That's the problem with "serving"! If what she did is supported by scripture, and I think it is, let the chips fall where they may! Nothing should be done in secret! John 7:4

  5. Listen, listen, listen. This is why people from the streets don't feel safe in the church. Too much hypocrisy going on in the church. It's time to wake up because God is not please.

  6. Ann you know what a lot of people have similar reasons as this young lady about some of the leaders in the church I pray God bless her and I pray God speak to her heart because at the end of the day God has the last say. This is a mess.

  7. Ms. Ann she shouldn't have put this video up. Her experience doesn't speak for the whole church and it only tells one side of the story when you hear what she said you feel ill towards the church not the people involved.

    1. Anonymous I believe you are wrong. It's always a shame when these things happen. But more importantly now people have more of an opportunity to say "this is why I don't go to church." However, that's not to say she shouldn't have posted. Maybe it will hit the church mentioned close to the heart when they hear their leadership handling the situation as such.

  8. Church is filled with human beings. Humans are flawed. It is an organization not exempt from the same pitfalls. I think it surprises people when things like this happen because there's an assumption that "church folk" are perfect. And unfortunately those that don't go will see this as another reason for them to stay away. But the way I see this is sometimes when we don't heed to God's whisper "It's time to go," He speaks louder to make sure we get the message. He may need her to be somewhere else and this the only way she would leave. She's on a journey just like the rest of us.

  9. Wow her poem leads me to think that the things she shared at the meeting weren't favored by the leaders if it had to do with things that they weren't happy with...also she is hung up on being dissed out of her ministry but God won't close a door that is meant for you to walk through. This might just be her time to leave. Her original post joked about serving at other churches "if ur church would like me to serve let me know" but God wants us to operate in our gifts not just to say I'm serving for serving purposes. It's sad that she felt the need to go about it this way and that the secretary saw it necessary to leave the voicemail.

  10. Lord have mercy, I know how she feel. I had not one but two churches to do me the same way. The funny thing is all you want is the best for your church. But it doesn't work like that anymore. Not all churches are the same. But be careful the devil is in the church now more than ever. Don't give up move on in gods name and u will be bless.

  11. I'm sorry, but no one should be ban or blackballed from any house of God for speaking their minds if I feel that something is not right oh you better believe I'm gonna say something.

  12. Ms. Ann Wow....I saw Bishop's letter first and had not been aware. Now I see why Bishop felt a need to respond...Wow.

  13. Now this is just wrong...so many churches are turning God's people away because of this corruption. Woe until them!!!

  14. Wowwww this is so sad but true.....PROUD of her for respectfully standing her ground.

  15. Armor bearer is not an office in the church. It's folks who want members to kiss their butts and serve them. These so called leaders in the church are full of....Well they are supposed to serve the people of God and not have the people of God serve them!

    ReplyDelete
  16. I'm really mixed about this whole situation. Like others stated, the position of an "armor bearer" is dubious at best. Nonetheless, we're only hearing one side of this story, so we really don't know what went on behind closed doors.

One thing for sure, Miss Dyamond has milked it for what it's worth, and she has certainly got the attention she seeks.

    1. You are so correct. This young lady is thriving on all the attention this is causing and not really caring about the actual damage this is causing. No one knows the full story, but it seems as if she doesn't do well with authority nor receives correction well. Now she's mad and trashing the entire church, including the pastor because she fell out with the lady who was over that ministry. Not ONCE did they put her out the church, and was told that her services were no longer needed on the armorbearer ministry (they have over 200 ministries at that church) BUT this messy young lady wants wants to lead everyone to believe that she was put out the church. Yes, I agree that voicemail should not have been left on her phone, but It's disheartening to see all the support of her and nobody knows what lead up to that...other than what she has said. Of course she is not going to tell the real truth about that....Come on people!!! Stop letting this emotional, attention seeking woman use yall.

    2. Amen. A true armor Bearer protects, prays, intercede, on the behalf of their leaders. This young lady dealt with not wanting to take open rebuke, let alone she wants people to believe she was wronged by another. She was not ready to cover anyone. Her hurt goes deeper than that voice mail. Her insecurity within herself attached onto others who are broken. The old church would have set her down n holiness, is essential. If I'm hurting looking for attention. What better way to do this by black balling a pastor. A drug dealer steals, takes your lived ones money, bidy, possession. You praise them, you get rebuked you harden your heart like Pharoah until he had himself consumed. She was already broken, and maybe the leaders wanted her to see her potential in Christ. Her pastor's leader made a great choice. Glad they didn't share there most private scars.

    3. What is a "true armor bearer"? Seriously!

      Delete
  17. Armor bearer is not a true, New Testament church position.... End of discussion. They did her a favor. She should thank God anyway, dust of her heels and put a song in her heart.

    ReplyDelete
  18. So, the armor bearer ministry has been promoted to be a prominent ministry in the church. The prominence is solely based on leadership's attention in this area. It doesn't really matter whether it is a New Testament position because it is a contemporary church position that is, along with a lot of other things in church, man-made. Being "released" from such a place of prominence is like being pushed out of the club, and that has to hurt on some level. Beyond that, I don't think it's right to talk about God's plan for this young lady because who knows what is His plan, and because the door closed to her does not mean that God did it. It could very well be against His plan, but because there are 1,000 other people looking to be accepted there is no reason for the leaders to take a step back and reflect.

  19. I feel like both sides were wrong! As a leader I say she was wrong for taking it to social Media and they were wrong for leaving her a voicemail! I feel like there needs to be a class taught on how to handle issues within the church! And for this to be a mega church they got to do better!

  20. I think the entire situation should have been private..
