Dallas Megachurch Pastor Robert Morris On Racism!

Image
Reader kudos to this pastor for saying what he said, and for how he said it, straight with no chaser. During a sermon this past weekend, Pastor Robert Morris of Dallas’ Gateway Church — one of the largest in the country — explained how racism is partly the church problem.  This past weekend, Pastor Robert Morris shared a powerful message titled “A Lack of Understanding” where he encouraged the church to stand against the evils of racism. Must watch, your jaw will drop.  You can only imagine how the rest of the sermon went.

Tragic News: Titi Branch Co Founder Of Miss Jessie’s Has Moved From Time Unto Eternity!

I'm speechless after reading about this.Titi Branch, co-founder of Miss Jessie's Products is rumored to have committed suicide at the age of 45.
This is so sad and a reminder that just because someone looks successful from the outside doesn't mean that everything is happy go lucky in their life. The holidays can be rough in general, but if you're suffering from depression or just hitting an extreme low, it can highlight EVERYTHING that's wrong.
My prayers and condolences go out to this young lady's family and friends.  I pray that God gives them the comfort they will so much need in this their darkest hour. Lord Jesus, depression/suicide is a silent killer in the Black community.

  2. This is what happens when you are sick. You don't feel worthy. It's not about money or fame or good looks. When you have peace that surpasses all understanding you will realize that only God can keep your mind. The struggle is extra real. What makes me sad is that taking your own life is a permanent fix to a temporary problem.
    Let go. Let God.

    1. yes! key words are "you don't feel worthy". WHICH SUX! This whole year has been a struggle not to end it, and I swear every time i'm super close, God provides me with a sign, only for me to fuck it up again…and the cycle continues.

  3. So sad! Always seems like the month of December really takes people out of here. People that seem HAPPY, at that. Watch your words. Smile at people more. Be kind. You never know what you can help to prevent by simply being NICE.
