Dallas Megachurch Pastor Robert Morris On Racism!

Image
Reader kudos to this pastor for saying what he said, and for how he said it, straight with no chaser. During a sermon this past weekend, Pastor Robert Morris of Dallas’ Gateway Church — one of the largest in the country — explained how racism is partly the church problem.  This past weekend, Pastor Robert Morris shared a powerful message titled “A Lack of Understanding” where he encouraged the church to stand against the evils of racism. Must watch, your jaw will drop.  You can only imagine how the rest of the sermon went.

Lord Have Mercy, LaKisha Hughes Come For J Moss Over Child Support Via Social Media.

Jesus, I know it's got to be a better way of doing this than calling these dead beat dad's out on social media. Especially those who hold up the Christian banner.   According to William G. McCray, he was minding his own business in church today when the above text popped up in his Facebook in-box. Now, don't get me wrong. If a man helps to create a child, he is duty-bound to support that child: financially, morally, spiritually, and emotionally. There is no way around this.

I must say, I’m getting so drained and frustrated with Christians in the public eye and otherwise, not handling their business. I really don't know about calling people out via social media. But, I do remember a couple of years ago when J. Moss said that this child support case over an out-of-wedlock son has hurt his reputation and ability to earn money. I'm wondering is this still the case?

  1. Man who does not take care of his family is worst kind of sinner.

  2. The child support could not have been hurting his ruputation to much cause he still not paying his support for his son like the court order. Whats wrong with leaders and ministers who ” suppose” to represent Christ are the main one’s who’s misrepresenting him this is one of the reasons why its so hard to compel the people. WHATS DONE IN THE DARK WILL COME TO LIGHT stop misrepresenting (JESUS).

  3. Shame on J Moss and others that sing or preach the gospel who need to go back to the altar and repent. Satan is really making a fool out of public gospel figures and that is because so many people look up to them and want to be like them. Foolishenss like this disencourage people to live save… A MESS.. BUT GOD GOT A PLACE FOR ALL SINNERS ESPECIALLY ONE’S WHO PLAY WITH HIM IN MANNER THAT IS HYPOCRTICAL.

  4. Unfortunley, J Moss is not the only gospel artist to have a child out of wedlock while they were in full time ministry. I have to say that the different incidences have stayed out of the mainstream media (for the most part). I think it goes to show that God doesn't necessarily want to put his children on blast when we fall. He's willing to cover us and give us the chance to repent and turn away from our sins. Thank God for Jesus' blood speaking on our behalf when we fall short of His will. God Bless J and his family.

  5. Is this a product of an outside relationship? Did he cheat on wife with Ms. Hughes?

  6. Yes Leslie it is a child that is not by his wife.

  7. 1 Timothy 5:8 "But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel."

Bottom line, if he was doing right by his child, this would have never happened. Ultimately its not her fault but his. He created this mess. There's a consequence for every action. He really is tired for so-called singing/ministering the "gospel" and being a deadbeat dad to an out of wedlock child from an adulterous realtionship smh! His fabricated reputation was shot when he cheated! He just was openly exposed for what was in his heart all along.

  8. This is why I don't buy gospel music anymore and stay far away from the new contemporary stuff, they're all phonies and are no different than the secular artists who sing about sex and money. They are all of the same vile spirit.

  9. You’re absouletly right! J. Moss has rubbed me the wrong way for a while and his attitude is just getting worse. When the child support was first ordered he asked the judge to block blogs and Internet sites from posting about it saying it was hurting his cash flow. Saying that he made $5000 a month but it depends on what the churches can afford and if the reports of this were out he’d lose more money than he already had lost by people even knowing he had an out of wedlock child not buy his wife. He only cares about black lives if they’re making him money. His kids with his wife completes his wholesome family image that helps makes him money; so he’ll make sure to do right by them but this child brings down his image so he’s not going to go anywhere near him.
