Lord Have Mercy Egypt Bans Film 'Exodus Gods and Kings' Because Of 'Historical Inaccuracies'!

Now deal with that Ridley Scott! The new biblical epic 'Exodus: Gods and Kings' has been banned in Egypt because of 'historical inaccuracies'. The head of the censorship board said these included a claim that the Pyramids were built by Jews, and that an earthquake, not a miracle by Moses, caused the parting of the Red Sea. Morocco has also reportedly banned the film, which stars Christian Bale as Moses, despite the fact that state-run Moroccan Cinema Centre (CCM) gave the movie the green light. Cinema owners in Morocco claimed that they were given a 'verbal' directive to not show the movie by the CCM on Wednesday - just a day before its planned release.

  1. They have to cast famous WHITE actors in order to get the budget they want. Historical accuracy is not important to producers only box office sales and not to mention they've long depicted middle eastern and african figures as white males in American film history. They love seeing only themselves in positions of power. Not modern day "niggers" or "terrorists".. Haha imagine that!!

  2. If you ask me none of those biblical movies are accurate.

  3. Not only is it Biblically inaccurate (and we know it is an offense to God to add or subtract from His Word), but any Exodus movie that does not have Charlton Heston as Moses just isn't the same! (tongue slightly in cheek here--but really, it's just not right without him).

  4. For "historical inaccuracies" . Think about it, if the ancient Egyptians (The one in africa) are dark skinned & Moses/Thutmoses was an Israelite who passed as an Egyptian & stayed 40 years at pharaohs place. The Israelites are dark skinned too.
