LL Cool J Stand By Earlier Claim That Tithing Is The Key To His Successful Hip-hop Career!

Praise the Lord, LL Cool J. is not wavering in his faith, but standing firm in an earlier claim he made years ago.   LL Cool J. says he credits his successful career luck to the fact he pays 10 percent of his earnings to God. The rapper has been paying substantial amounts to the church for years. He says, "I'm paying tithes by 10 percent of the gross going to the church. This is the only thing that has taken my career from here to there. You're seeing the glory of God when you see my career. God judges the heart, so when you give, your heart gets judged."

Everyone does not agree with LL Cool J. about tithing:
Tithing has nothing to do with faith. I hope people see the deception and falsehood in this. We as true believers don’t get to do what we want or live how we want. God has opened my eyes to the tithe deception. I stopped paying tithes in 2012 and God has never stopped moving and blessing my household.

  1. I totally agree with the commenter above in the post. Galatians and James both tell us clearly that we cannot keep just one part of the law and not be guilty of all. LL Cool J hasn't had to forsake anything for the sake of the furthering of the gospel! He has made a living off of the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life! What a self-centered, man-centered gospel he is speaking. "Look at what God did for ME when I did this(tithe). MY career...MY blessings." God is not a genie or a cosmic slot-machine. Let the record show, the tithe was done away with when Jesus came and fulfilled the law and was the FINAL High Priest! Smh...send that bag of lies back to the pit from whence it came.

    1. Well said. Speak the truth. The tithe was done away with. As christians we are called to a different order. To give cheerfully and from the heart. We are to give 100% in everything. I agree with you Our God is not a genie, or grand master magician. He is a holy God and His children must be holy. LL Cool J needs to understand this.

  2. Matthew 23:23 - Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

  3. It's his money and I'm glad he's decided to remain faithful with it. I know from experience that tithing does bring about blessings. For most of my life I've witnessed my father consistently tithe his full 10%. He's now retired with a good pension, social security, and enough of a nest egg to live out the rest of his life without ever having to worry about money. He continues to tithe his full 10% and credits his constant tithing for his blessings. We all have the personal choice to tithe or not. I won't ever tell anyone that they won't be blessed if they don't tithe & I'll never let anyone tell me that tithing doesn't bring about blessings.

  4. So he believes God made his career "great" smh i guess all that sex and booty and violence music is exactly what God had in mind when u paid him his "due" smh

  5. So The good Lord over looked his songs

    Around the way girl

    Your Jingling baby

    All because he tithed???
Don't you at least have to PRETEND that you DON'T treat women as toys to play with?

  6. Let's not forget " I'm not your average with my jimmie in my hand! Dam!!!".
