Church Announcement: Ecumenical Solidarity!

Passed the word!

Update, December 7,2014: It has been bought to my attention that "Sunday, December 14, 2014, the Church of God in Christ (COGIC) will sponsor a day of prayer throughout its 12,000 congregations around the world, in honor of the two recent cases of African American men, Michael Brown and Eric Garner, killed by police.  Presiding Bishop Charles E. Blake, Sr. says, “I watched, as did most of America, first the video of the incident, then the report of the Grand Jury in the Eric Garner case.

I am saddened by the decision of the Staten Island Grand Jury to not indict New York City police officer Daniel Pantaleo. With no indictment in two national cases in less than a two week period, and to hear and see Eric Garner, a father and grandfather, placed in a banned choke hold and repeatedly say ‘I can’t breathe,’ takes us back years in the struggle for equal justice.” Bishop Blake added, “We must find a way, through God’s help, to continue the work of emphatically telling everyone that will listen that, “Black Lives Matter!”

  1. We will pray for black men and boys; either they’re being locked up and killed in the streets or simply assisting with the reinvention of the new 21st Century "Willie Lynch Syndrome"... Why else is America bombarding the Nation with Black Men with white women all of a sudden? Using the black man’s weakness to help destroy his own community; we will pray for black men and boys…for WISDOM amongst all things.
Light Skin Vs. Dark Skin emerges at least as early as 1712 in the Colony of Virginia on the banks of the James River and Willie Lynch. Willie Lynch spoke of ways to break apart the tightly unified Black man and woman. The unity between the slaves led to revolts. They killed their owners and those families and often ran away. Considering this, Willie Lynch devised a plan that would control the slaves physically and mentally for 300 years or more if executed correctly.

    The Lynch plan consisted of:

“Crossbreeding Niggers mean taking so many drops of good white blood and putting them into as many nigger women as possible, varying the drops by the various tone that you want, and then letting them breed with each other until another circle of color appears as you desire. What this means is this; Put the niggers and the horse in breeding pot, mix some asses and some good white blood and what do you get? You got multiple of colors of ass backward, unusual niggers, running, tied to backward ass long-headed mules, the one productive of itself, the other sterile, (The one Constant, the other dying, we keep the nigger constant for we may replace the mules for another tool) both mule and nigger tied to each other, neither knowing where the other came from and neither productive for itself, nor without each other.”

  2. So women aren't also victimized? How many have been raped at the hands of police authority? Who carries the family when the black man is doing time or dead and gone?

The issue is police brutality. It just so happens black men are most often the subject of the abuse because black men are most often the subject of the police call.

This is not simply about the lives of black men. ALL lives matter.

A black pastor must have came up with the 'pray for black men and boys' idea. Again, treating women like an after thought and then wanting to shut the government down when they are treated likewise.

Ironic: Black men discriminate but are in arms when they are discriminated against.
