Bishop Elect- Marvin L Winans & Perfecting Church Response To Negative Media Coverage!!

Facebook:

According to Perfecting Church Facebook page, they have seen a preview of a negative news story that a local TV station in Detroit is planning to run regarding properties owned by the church, and they are not too happy about it. As quiet as it's kept, the Church had purchased several properties from the city of Detroit as well as from Wayne County that sat dormant on their rolls for many, many years. Listen to and read what Bishop Elect Winans had to say here.

  1. They should not have purchased the property if they did not have the money to develop it. We understand demolition costs money but all of those factors should've been considered and planned for before purchasing. I hope the church makes good on its intentions and does something with those properties.

I agree, This is why I don't watch the news... It's all propaganda trying to gain ratings. When are we going to hold these people responsible for their lies. They did it to my pastor years ago and now another pastor. The media is an illuminati controlled industry that will do whatever is necessary to destroy anything of God.

    3. Shame on WXYZ!!!! The Scripture Says whenever you desire to do Good, Evil is Always Present... I Believe it's in Romans....However to Pastor Marvin Winans and Perfecting Church.... Greater is He That is within you....Than he That's in The World!!!!! Greater is Coming!!!!! That's why the enemy is mad!!!! Keep your Head Up!!!!

    4. Stop using the scriptures to justify stupidity. Property owners in every city accross the nation are required to maintain & upkeep their property. Stop acting like he's being singled out.

  2. They don't owe anyone an explanation. If folks are so concerned about the properties, they should have purchased them or they could volunteer their services to help with demolition. Otherwise, sweep around your own front door.

    1. They do owe an explanation if the properties that they purchased continue to be dilapidated, abandoned, eye sores in the community. If they can't fix it then sell it to someone who can!

  3. Why is a church investing in properties, instead of people?

  4. They seem to only care about the money intake and their so called " Image "! They do owe the community and their church membership an explanation, especially if they used church funds to purchase those properties. T hey may not want to give one , but they certainly owe them one. They could have hired men that belong to their 5000 member congregation to fix up and repair these properties. Then they could have provided some low-income rental properties for the saints who need it. This is such a distorted view of the Church that is often presented to the world and then instead of being humble and repentant for being bad stewards , they try to defend their irresponsible behavior. Don't act like the church cant be criticized or rebuked for bad decisions. We are to " cry loud and spare not".... Those abandoned house are not only "eyesores " but any beast ( man or dog ) can hide and harbor themselves in them to prey on unsuspecting women and children on their way to work and school. The decision to buy those properties was evidently wrong because now it a shame/waste , that the world is putting on "Blast ".
