Trump says he’s fulfilled his promises to Christians, but he really means white evangelicals

Reader according to The Washington Post, it sounds like 45 will be fulfilling no more campaign promises made to white conservative evangelicals. I repeat, in "my opinion", white conservative evangelical Christians are among the very worst people this country has every produced. Given half a chance, they would re-institute slavery, stone women to death in the streets for adultery (but never the men), legalize rape, execute homosexuals en masse, cart Jews off to the gas chambers, and set the world on fire all in the name of their god. We know this because they tell us that's what they want to do. They're proud of their hate until you call them monsters. Then you're attacking their faith and they're being "persecuted."

Question: Can A Sister Co-pastor At A Church With Her Husband?

What do you think about a Pastor and wife team operating in the church? Can he be called the Pastor and she be called the Co-Pastor? Thabiti Anyabwile over at the front porch looks at the model of husbands and wife's co-pastoring churches. What does Scripture have to say about this model, if anything? What effects can this have on the body if any? Is it ok to have the Pastor and wife work together in the church?

  1. No... This new trend is way out of control... This is a way to manopoly the pulpit... The pastor's wife job is just that, to be his wife...

  2. We've seen this do more harm then good to the Body of Christ... (Ex. Randy & Paula White, Thomas & Juanita Weeks)

  3. This speaks volumes to our sinful desire to glorify ourselves to be important.

We can't just be a pastor, we have to be
    Apostle, Evangelist, Prophet

The spouse just can be the wife of the pastor, she has to be co-pastor, assistant pastor or the dreaded FIRST LADY.

I am sure having a steady stream of income is a good incentive to add the wife as co- pastor.

  4. This is how it is at my church. The Pastor's wife is the Co-Pastor. Plus there are few Ministers and so on who all play a part in the church. Definitely not a money thing and it works well. The man is still the head. God's order is still in place so see no problem. If the wife is also called to ministry on a pastoral level should she be silenced. Miriam was part of the priestly family in the Bible. My pastor's wife works full time so I doubt at my church money would be a factor

  5. Miriam didn't perform any priestly duties... Being a member of a particular family doesn't qualify one to hold titles... Jesus had many women who were members of his family... We don't see none of them calling attention to themselves...

  6. The whole co-Pastor thing is not biblical. Show me a wife who was a co-Pastor in the BIBLE and i will believe you.
