Jesus Take The Wheel: Pastor John Hagee Claim God Thinks ‘NASTY' Welfare Recipients Should Get A Job Or Starve!

In my opinion, this man is not a Christian. His beliefs are so far removed from the teachings of Jesus, that it is not even funny. It's as if he has never even read a Bible. Source:

  1. Who in the hell is getting a free ride on welfare? Who are these people? I'd love to meet them but I suspect they only exist in the fevered imagination of certain people.

    1. Exactly. My husband and I are both disabled and struggle on $720 a month in SSI.

Does Hagee not realize that most people on welfare already have a job? And some of them are juggling two or three jobs and still need help! How insulting to those comments are to people who work themselves to the bone and still can't support their families. How does God feel about that? IJS!

  2. In my humble opinion John Hagee is the poster child for ending 501c3 statuses for mega-churches. This poor excuse for a Christian believes in Dual Covenant Universalism stuff and is a enabler of prosperity preachers on TBN and TCT and Daystar, and let us not forget about the 4 blood moons scam that he's peddling.

  3. Surprisingly,I agree with Mr. Hagee. The bible does in fact say, whoever does not work, should not eat. And he did exclude those who are elderly, sick, and those who aren't working but willing to work.

    1. Perhaps you should stop taking the bible so literally, because it also justifies slavery and other civil rights that you so freely enjoy.

    2. Of course Tarres Stanley, Jesus was totally on the side of the 1%, I bet.....and by the way, you're not the only one who agrees with Hagee calling folks "Nasty welfare recipients".

  4. Interesting that this fat bast**d has a direct line to what God thinks...those NASTY recipients like the elderly/the sick/babies and kids/the working poor...those NON aborted infants you "love" so much....what bullsh*t...FAKE Christians make me sick.

  5. Anonymous, the bible does not justify or condone slavery. The slave/ master relationship was akin to the poor pledging his labor in exchange for food and room and board for an agreed upon time frame... it is not like the violent forced servitude of western slavery. The master is told to be fair to his slave... and the slave is told to be diligent in his labor for the master.

And yes, I do take the bible literally.

    1. Really? You take it literally but you turn around and put your own spin on what it meant by slavery. I'm so glad that I don't rely on anyone else's interpretation of the bible to guide me.

    2. The fact that the Bible never explicitly condemns ancient slavery does not at all imply that it has nothing to say regarding modern slavery.

    3. Slavery is the result of "Fallen Man " ! if Adam and Eve had not sinned, there would never have been any type of slavery where one group of human beings would dominate another human, who is naturally, their equal. Slavery was the result of sin entering into this Earthly realm, due to Adams sin & the unregenerate carnal mind. There is absolutely no superior human beings in any country or currently dwelling in any geographical area of sea or landscape, that`s covering this planet. Any individual who currently thinks that "slavery" is acceptable in any society is an ignorant specimen who needs to be corrected ASAP. That type of ignorance is "generational. If you were raised by a foolish/ignorant/bigoted/mentally unstable/racist/delusional person, then more than likely you will need to be "re-programed , . ..." be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind ", ( Romans 12:2 ). Dangerous mind-sets have caused many wars and much civil unrest and inequalities. Let us not defend the colossal errors of nations & societies past.

  6. Everybody has an opinion but, what's up with calling them nasty ? Yes, people do need to work if they can and since he is so offended by them not working, why cant he go down to the local welfare office and start accepting applicants to work for his ministry, so they can get off of welfare ?

  7. Most people on welfare DO have jobs. Their bosses are too cheap to pay them a decent wage to live off of.

  8. Hagee should try a bit of starving himself, wouldn't say?

  9. I have zero respect for this man. He teaches bad theology and wrongheaded Christianity. I think he should get his nasty deluded self out from behind his desk and get a real job.

I don't know how this rich, old putz musters all of his righteous indignation. Not a Christian response. He's lumping a few lazy people in with all of those struggling in an economy this guy has helped to create, by encouraging his "flock" to vote for Republican candidates that voted for policies that created this financial disaster, and exported American labor's jobs to China. He's the "Nasty" one.

Let's also mention how much this guy doesn't understand how unemployment and food stamps aren't the same thing. Many families working 40+ hours per week rely on foodstamps or other government aid.

Also unemployment doesn't go to everyone who is unemployed. We all pay for it because any of us could be unemployed at any time and it isn't easy to get, and once you're on it you have to actively be looking for a job. Sure, there are people just applying for jobs they don't qualify for to stay on unemployment, but most of these people are trying to find work. I was in a unique situation last year where I was too sick to work, which disqualified me from getting unemployment, because I wouldn't be able to accept employment. However I wasn't sick enough to qualify for disability.

  13. Voluntary servitude is vastly different from the westernized slave trade that America partook in. We only need to read, examine context, biblical history and know the nature of our God

    1. That still doesn't negate the fact that the literal interpretation of the bible that was used to justify slavery. People like to pick, choose, and play word games with the scripture to suit their purpose. And this fat slob is no different!

      Delete
    2. It was isolated scriptures taken out of context that was used to wrongfully subjugate people. The bible, rightfully divided, does not condone westernized slavery.

And Mr. Hagee's rant does not diminish the fact that the bible does say those who do not work, should not eat, excluding the elderly, the sick, and the like.

  14. Hagee is drunk on his own religious rhetoric. He can spew out foolishness freely until the day when he no longer resides on this planet, Earth. The "church world" today is filled to the brink with these foolish and vain talkers who are so cold hearted and self righteous. Hagee`s thoughts and ideas don't speak for the true and living Word of God or for God`s people. What is supposed to happen? Stop feeding the poor and store up all that excess food for Hagee`s firm and fit family ? He should be afraid to even "go -there ". talkin about some food. It`s obvious that he and his whole clan have a very loving/intimate & long-standing relationship with food. He would stop food from getting to the hungry innocent children because of his dogmatic and ridged beliefs.
besides, America throws out enough food every day , to feed multitudes and nations . Where would all of the excess food go if we didn't feed the poor? Just because a person is on Welfare doesn't mean they don't do any form of productive work. Also, what about the Welfare in the form of Government grants, and aid that a lot of ministries and foreign countries have accepted from our own Government ? Hagee`s self righteous position only shows us that calling yourself a preacher doesn't mean that you love people. Jesus fed the 5 thousand men plus the women and children (St. Matthew 14:13-21 )without judging whether they deserved to eat or not. That's like someone calling Hagee a glutinous sloth because he is "slightly obese". That`s like saying all overweight people should be banned from eating because they are assumed to be fat and lazy. (We all know that laziness has nothing to do with size, but the mentality or physicality of the individual , most times). I`m not on welfare, thank God and all of my grown children work but I would not deny hungry people a meal. Folks are so evil now days that they would deny Christ and his doctrines so they can say what they really feel, be they Pastors or not. But that`s what happens when your ministry/church/riches, becomes a god and an idol , perfectly perched on the throne of your wicked/deceitful heart ,instead of Jesus being our Lord and perfect example.
