Question of The Day: Why Is The Media In A Rush To Label Edward Snowden A Hero And are Quickly Asking That He Be Pardon?

I don't get it, why is there such a big rush in the media to quickly label Edward Snowden a "hero" with a quick call for a pardon, WHY?

Edward Snowden, the 29-year-old former CIA technical assistant who has stepped forward to say he's the source of explosive leaks about government surveillance programs was among "thousands upon thousands" of such analysts hired to manage and sift through "huge amounts of data." Article Here!

I'm sorry but in my opinion,he's more of a traitor who needs to be held to the full extent of the law. This isn't a case of whistleblowing this is a case of giving out classified information when he was not authorized to do so. I hope the government go after him.

  1. He did the moral thing. People who have principles can't help but support him.

  2. JP who morals are you speaking of? It sure is not this young my opinion he don't have any. He was so trusted by his employer that he was given a high clearance level which meant that he was trusted to do what he agreed to do. I hope the government drag his butt back so he can face charges.

  3. Ann, I agree with you! One thing for sure, he has no loyalty to America or its people! If he was so sure he did the right thing, why is he hiding? Why not face the consequences of his actions? He is a coward! He has no morals, he violated the trust of his employer!
