A Brand New Easter Production: King of Kings!

If you always wanted to witness and experience the life of our Lord, Savior and King, Jesus Christ during the Easter season in a more real way. Then you need to make your way to the Evangel Multi Media and Arts Center in Upper Baltimore Maryland during the week of March 22-24. They are presenting a special Easter production with live animals along with Gospel music artists like Shirley Caesar, Richard Smallwood, Beverly Crawford, Tamela Mann and  Le’Andria Johnson.

    2. The message is already lost. This is not about Jesus, but about men. ‘These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And[e] honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ Matthew 15:8,9. We don't need to witness and experience the life of Jesus in a more real way. The Bible, the Word of God, is real enough and all that we need. Making money of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, where is the fear of the Lord?????

    5. I must agree with Anonymous. This is why Jesus turned over the tables in the temple. Matthew 21:12-13Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves. 13 “It is written,” he said to them, “‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’[a] but you are making it ‘a den of robbers. If this was about doing God's will, which is why we were created, it would be vastly different than this is advertising. Plus, Leandria Johnson?! Are u kidding me...her life...she needs to put herself on the altar and stay there.

    6. Godchaser thanks for the comment but I disagree. This is a special Easter production taking place in a performing arts center, and I don't see anything wrong with it. Many churches prepare special Easter programs about the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, but on a small scale.

    9. If any of the people doing or participating in this make money, it is wrong. There's a difference in a church play celebrating Christ and a major show for profit, based on the FREE gospel of Jesus Christ! This is about money, not saving souls. Besides, the pure Word of Old is what saves, not plays, music, shouting, and other various church foolishness. If we want to please God, keep His commands and stop creating all this other stuff to do just because we feel like it. What He wants from us is so simple, yet we don't do it! How very sad! What did Jesus do when He was here? Teach the gospel...that's all! That's the blueprint that we refuse to follow. But we feel justified in making merchandise of His life?! Its borderline blasphemy!

    12. Where is the line? I mean as far as their lively hood. I understand what is being said but at the same time a part of me is confused. It seems so strict. Is the Word getting across honestly, whole heartedly? Are souls being saved and introduced to the Living Water? I believe so. These people are anointed. But it definitely cost to put on things of this nature and magnitude: facilities, power, etc.
