No Pat There Is No Excuse For The Lustful Action Of General David Petraeus!

"Here's a Good-Looking Lady Throwing Herself at Him" source here.

Pat Robertson is at it once again and I totally think he miss the mark here. There's no way one can blame someone else for his or her actions when it comes to lust. Lust is a personal thing! It's about fulfilling one's desires with no regard to the outcome. Its main focus is in pleasing oneself which often leads to one's downfall. Lust is the only sin that I can think of that bring shame along when it come knocking.

Yesterday on  the 700 Club, televangelist Pat Robertson seemed to describe CIA Director David Petraeus as the real victim of the growing sex scandal involving him and his biographer, Paula Broadwell.

He described Broadwell as an “extremely good-looking woman” who is a “marathon runner, she’d run Iron Man triathlons and so she’s out running with him and writing a biography,” and Petraeus simply couldn’t help himself: “The man’s off in a foreign land and he’s lonely and here’s a good-looking lady throwing herself at him. He’s a man.

”Galatians 5: 17, 19-21 17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
