Shout Out To The First Students To Graduate From Oprah Winfrey’s School In South Africa

On January 14 Oprah Winfrey attended the inaugural graduation at her Leadership Academy for Girls at Henley on Klip, South Africa.

                                “I’m one proud momma today”

Oprah told the class of 2011, while also praising the teachers, administrators, social workers, psychologists, and family members who had helped the girls reach the milestone.

Winfrey said she sees the students as her daughters, and listed the blows they have experienced: “Divorce. Violence. Molestation. The loss of one parent. The loss of another parent. Sorrow. Sadness. Grief.” Article here!
