Kudos and high five to Kenneth Paramore Pastor of the Christian Revival and Discipleship Center in Youngstown, OH....In the clip below the pastor offer his personal phone number to members of his congregation who might be struggling with homosexuality.....Some folks have a problem with his approach but I don't...Out of all my born days I've  never seen nor witness the issue of homosexuality handle from the pulpit in this manner.....I'm give the man of God (touch your neighbor) credit for tackling  the issue in the fashion he did...I also believe the pastor realize  that his church, pew sitters congregation was not mature spiritually enough to handle a issue like this without the gossip mill kicking in.....Kudos Pastor Paramore!!

Katy Perry Mom See Her Becoming A Modern Day Benny Hinn.

Pastor  Mary Hudson have spoken a word of divine inspiration prophecy concerning  her daughter Katy Perry.....pastor Mary says she can see Katy's gift for entertaining a crowd being used for a spiritual purpose.....and her desire is  to see Katy become a Benny Hinn "Kathryn Kuhlman" type of healer.

Kathryn Kuhlman was an evangelist and faith healer who began preaching at aged 16....and if not mistaken Miss Kuhlman was also Benny Hinn teacher mentor....he model his ministry after hers in  many ways.

 I personal believe these billboards are nothing more than  right wing conservative using Black people to do their hating....I agree with Black Women for Wellness Communications Director, Thandi Chimurenga statement

DNA evidence have shown  Dr. Micheal Clare fathered a young girl’s aborted fetus....And because of pride and arrogance he decided not to accept a plea deal that would come with just 3 years in prison.....This is despite the FACT that there’s strong evidence that he's guilty.....To top it off his  lawyer, Paul Brenner, asked the judge to consider probation instead of prison.....“I would never do that,” the judge snapped, citing a DNA match between Clare and the victim’s aborted fetus....On his My Space page he states he's  a "man of great integrity" who is "a paragon, a model of excellence and ideal example of living and preaching the Gospel of Christ." Will The America Muslim Population Be Help Or Harm By Tonights Special?

CNN anchor and special correspondent Soledad O’Brien chronicles this dramatic public debate in Unwelcome: The Muslims Next Door, which will debut on CNN tonight at 8:00p.m. ET and PT.....I'm sorry but I don't trust news organizations CNN...Instead of helping the  Muslims population in America  it most likely will cause harm.

I believe every-time CNN place a program like this on the air, it only separate and divide us the  more example: Black In America, The Black Church, The Black Church and  Homosexuality etc....I still can't get over how they made Pastor E.Dewey Smith look foolish especially to a world that didn't/don't understand  black preaching.

There are alot of misguided and anger  people in our world today...In the clip some one said that Islam was scary to Americans!! Get out of here with that foolishness..... Islam doesn't cause me to fear...To tell you the truth....I'm more scared of the extreme terrible behavior of the religious right than I am of a Muslim.
 

We Got To Cast Down Every Wicked Imagination From Our Children Minds.

I'm praying against fishnet stockings, mini skirts high heels and butterfly spider eyelashes particular, specially especially on girls under 10....Whose brilliant idea was it to market porn  items  to pretty  sweet little girls to make them look like street walkers? It's sicking I tell you  to see little girls dress like floosie ,prostitute street walkers...Why have my generation  not spoken out about the masterminding of the porn industry toward our youth?... Where on earth did this trend come from? Yesterday at work I had gotten in the elevator with two beautiful little black girls around 10 years old....Who were/was dress and look  like little prostitutes.....It hurt my heart to see such....Both little girls had on spider butterfly eyelashes and high heels.....Who in Hades allow their child to leave the house dress like that? We who are  religious spiritual concerned, got to take authority over the spirit of wickedness thats in high places and hold,tieup bind them from the lives of our children...We got to pull down every strong hold and demonic influence from our children lives.

 Anger is one of the most intense emotions God has given to His creation.....The Bible let us know that it's an honest, real, and basic emotion that must be managed.....I believe during  Robin Roberts GMA  interview yesterday of Chris Brown.....She did something the Bible instruct us not to do.....She call forth, evoke provoked Chris Brown to anger!....After watching the show clip....I believe she intentionally provoked him with her line of questions which  was totally uncalled for....She was also wrong in her approach ....If you notice Chris Brown politely and respectfully told her he wanted to talk about his new album...... She totally ignored his hint and for a second time went right into it again.... Again, he respectfully and politely threw her another hint, the reason he was there was to promote his new album......What part of "no" does Ms. Roberts  have trouble understanding?

Shame, Shame that some preachers are scanning  news reports in search of events they say line up with biblical prophesies in order to defraud, short-change, swindle scam biblical illiterate folks ....CNBC is reporting  already, in the first quarter of 2011 these end times predictors are making a killing....In this latest wave of turmoil it's  prompting  pastors, like John Hagee of San Antonio, Texas, to use their websites to promote their ideas, along with links to materials for purchase.John Hagee is the  senior pastor of the 19,000 member Cornerstone Church in Texas....On his website he offers a DVD called “Financial Armageddon” for $12 and is signing up registrations for a prophesy seminar in Sacramento in April for $10.....In his latest newsletter, he analysis the uprising in Egypt:

“Get ready! Planet earth is about to become the playground for the Anti-Christ and his New World Order. The church will be rapture before the Anti-Christ appears; and I believe he could be introduced in Europe at any time. Pray up! Pack up! ”

Sherri Shepherd And The Gift Of Tongues.

Sherri Shepherd reminds me of people who think they are spiritual because of the way they have learned to act....She demonstrated that the other day on the view....I'm a believer who embraces speaking in tongues but I'm total against doing it for laughter like Sherri Shepherd did on the View.....I believe tongues is a personal prayer language between a believer and God....In today's church there is alot tension and polarization over the issue of sign gifts, particularly tongues.....There have been divisions and church splits regarding the gift of tongues...I believe as a Christian Sherri was out of line....Paul encourage the Christian to keep the value of spiritual gifts in perspective in which I felt Sherri fail to do....Tongues displayed like on the "View" brings no good to the church.....What are your thoughts  out of line or not?

Can You Pray The **** Away?

Can you "Pray the Gay Away?" Whether or not it's possible to be gay and Christian at the same time is one of the most controversial debates in Christianity today....Two weeks ago investigative reporter Lisa Ling examines that idea  in a special report  on her "Our America" show broadcast on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN).

One part of the investigation focuses on Exodus, the group that claims they can cure homosexuality...While another focuses on The Naming Project which teaches kids that God loves them no matter what.

Now I suppose, if being gay was against one's religious beliefs, one could pray that they don't act upon it... As one might pray to be strong enough to resist any other urge that may be similarly against one's religious belief.....Such as adultery, pre-marital sex, whore mongering, drug use, etc....I don't believe you can  pray any ills away in your own strength.... But through a true committed relationship with Jesus Christ any and every thing is possible...Now we all have a sinful nature, everyone of us no matter what orientation we may find ourselves.....Rather it be homosexual or heterosexual God is calling us to forsake everything that we are and find our identity only in Him.....This call is not limited to just one group, but all of us....The path is hard but He is faithful....There are many who have already made a decision to leave their old lives behind and live for Christ.

Church Demand Payment For Communion!

In Houston Texas thirty  members of a small  Baptist Church said they refused to give the man-of-god their tax refunds; he refused to give them communion....I know a lot Christians struggle with the issue of tithing and in some churches tithing is over-emphasized....But to try and force church members to give up their tax refund is really crazy...No pastor should pressure his congregation for tithes or other offerings if they don't have it to give.

Crystal Cathedral Bans Homosexuality in Choir!

The Crystal Cathedral in Southern california has taken the surprising step of asking its choir members to model a biblical lifestyle, which would include abstaining from homosexual behavior:

"I understand that in an era where images of family relationship and personal sexuality are often confused, Crystal Cathedral Ministries believes that it is important to teach and model the biblical view. I understand that Crystal Cathedral Ministries teaches that sexual intimacy is intended by God to only be within the bonds of marriage, between one man and one woman." What do you think?

Is Louis Farrakhan A Closet Christian?

Gregory Kane a columnists for The Washington Examiner ask that question in a piece he recently wrote for the examiner....Minister Louis Farrakhan was the keynote speaker  at the Nation of Islam's Savior's Day Convention this year.....In the piece for the examiner Kane said what struck him was Farrakhan's comments about Jesus.....Whom Muslims are supposed to believe isn't the Son of God, but just one of God's prophets, following in the path of Abraham, Isaac, Jeremiah and Moses....Now my son in-law who's a pastor/teacher have made similar comments about the "Minister".

"No prophet before Jesus caste out demons, that I can remember," Farrakhan told the NOI congregation. "Do you remember any of the old prophets casting out demons? They just talked to people, gave 'em hard law and killed 'em if they disobeyed. That was enough to cast out crazy thoughts."
Then Farrakhan talked about how Jesus could cast demons out of people just by ordering them to depart.
"Jesus was deep," Farrakhan continued. "There was something about the power of his word that the demons came out."
Could there have been "something about the power of his words" that made Jesus more than a prophet? Could he have been -- oh, I don't know -- the Son of God, perhaps?

We have to remember that Mr. Farrakhan grew up as an active member of the Episcopal Church....Could it be in his twilight years that the "Minister" have come to accept the truth? Someone wrote this on a message board:  No where is it documented that Mr. Farrakhan ever admitted that Jesus Christ is the Son of God; that he has asked Jesus to forgive him his sins, and save him.

Thank you Shaun King for taking a stand....Some people don’t agree with Pastor Shaun  calling the bishop out by name....Now I've  been following  this young pastor for over a year on twitter and applause him for taking the stand that he have. Will other pastors follow his lead are will they continue to act like nothing is wrong? There's Differences Between God Wrath and God Judgment!

The tsunami and earth quake in Japan have caught the world’s attention....Dead birds, fish and animals  have filled the news lately. These events  have raised questions  in the minds of many Christians—“Is this God’s judgment on man kind?" The answer to that would be NO! But what  I will say is the tsunami and earthquake show us that we're living in the end times, we are weak, vulnerable and  need to turn back to God. These are merely birth pangs that precede the future outpouring of wrath predicted in the Bible. I do not believe natural disasters themselves are God’s direct judgment on cities or nations for particular sins. These things happening in our world today does not fit the example of the judgment in the Bible because the righteous were not spared. I do believe God’s wrath will be poured out as described in the Book of Revelation. NO ONE  will escape other than those whose names are in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Natural calamities such as mentioned by Jesus warn us that time is running out.

I love me some “Twinkie” Clark....For me she's a musical genius who have been a model for gospel music excellence!....I have always consider "Twinkie" to have been one of the most gifted musician and anointed vocalist of my generation.....I've always thought  Twinkie to be the heart and soul of the Clark Sisters sound......Some say she was the creative force in shaping the well known sound that have become the Clark Sisters hallmark sound.... Howard University in Washington, DC is were Twinkie received her musical training...."Twinkie"  has devoted her life to sharing the good news of Jesus through music....."Twinkie"  is a wonderful singer, songwriter and musician....With this cut "Twinkie" stayed true to her roots C.O.G.I.C.

Can A Pastor Destroy His Position Of Honor By Attending A Secular Concert?

Last night at the world renowned Fox Theater in Atlanta Ga. Ledisi, Kem and Musiq Soul Child performed to a sold out crowd. One of those in attendance was a young pastor from the Atlanta area  who tweeted how much he enjoyed the concert. Back in the day if a pastor was seen in a night club or leaving a night club for that matter  it did something to his credible with- in the community. Is that still true today?

Are The Constant Promotion Of Female Pastors Causing A Breakdown With-in The Established Parameters Of The Church?

This is an email sent to Gospel  Today about women pastors: If you’re looking for a “religiously correct” letter, this is not one of them. You need to listen to BET, CNN, ABC, PBS, NPR, they’re pagan to the bone.
The safeguards set in motion by God are for a reason. You know the objections men and some women have about this. The constant promotion of female pastors is causing breakdown after breakdown [of] the established parameters God set for a vibrant Church. ( Church announcemet here!)

"Is Gandhi in Heaven or Hell?"

 The noise online surrounding  Pastor Rob Bell kinda  remind  me of a similar incident  years ago within the African-America faith community.....I can only think,conceive, guess imagine what would have happen to Bishop Carlton Pearson  if Twitter had been around when he embraced Universalism....Since Twitter wasn't around  the church and Bishop Carlton Pearson got together and discussed his views...Only after giving the Bishop a chance to explain his views is when the church took action.


Rob Bell is the pastor of over 15,000 souls mostly young people at Mars Hill church in Michigan.....Mr.Bell have written a new book "Love Wins"  A book About Heaven, Hell, and the fate of every person who ever lived......The new book will be in stores March 29th.....Any how, last week some Christan's took to Twitter to tweet about the new book and how Mr. Bell might be making a dangerous move into Universalism....Grant-it no one has read the entire book yet.....But if you watch the  promotional video for the book....It seems very clear that he might have joined the ranks of former evangelical Carlton Pearson who embraces universalism. Supposedly in the book Mr. Bell addresses one of the most controversial issues of faith - the afterlife - arguing that a loving God would never sentence human souls to eternal suffering......When I read or here a statement like that it always causes me to cringe....Its as if God just send people to HELL....The truth of the matter whether a person Gandhi is good or bad..... Any soul that leave this earth without Christ is doom to spend eternity lost.


The teaching that there is no hell, and that everyone gets redeemed is not in accordance with the Bible....Hell will be created for Satan and his angels....Scripture is very clear about that.....Hell was not created for man....But if man is so bent on rejecting God's Son The Christ, then they will not be with Him.....Now I don't agree with every thing anyone preaches not even my own pastor....But what I'm saying  lets not label Mr. Bell until he explain his view...We have to remember that this young pastor  teachings is used by main stream evangelical churches in their youth and college groups.Church Announcement Here!

Kingdom Culture Church!

In February of 2009, Deitrick  Haddon was call and appointed Pastor of  High Praise Church Kingdom Culture Church  in his hometown of Detroit, Michigan. Mr. Haddon took over the post long held by his father. Since Deitrick have taken control, the membership has grown from 400 to almost 2,000 attendees. Haddon  says his mission is to empower young leaders to work from their community to reach out into the world to spread a Kingdom Message far and wide. Good Christian Bitches!

That's the name of a new ABC pilot show. The show title has religious and women’s groups up in arms over what they describe as an extremely offensive and distasteful show title. A Christian publisher  told FOX 411 that the show taglines “For Heaven’s sake, don’t let God get in the way of a good story!” could put Christians in an unfairly bad light. The publisher stated that she find the title offensive. I don’t think those two words should be combined,” she said. “A show like this can damage perceptions [of Christians in this country].” A spoke person  from the Women’s Media Center said Christians aren't the only ones who should be upset. “It is not an appropriate term to use to describe any woman, regardless of their faith.

 I will agree it's a ugly title name  for a show. But I also think when Christians jump on offensive or controversial books, films, and shows we  inadvertently just end up playing into these promoters’and publishers' hands. What do you think? Do these promoters’and publishers' do this to draw attention to their product?  Do you think they should change the title?

The Christian Night Club Is Misleading.

I find this particular Christian flier to be some what deceptive. It's making claims that are not true. I don't know if the flier was designed to deceive or mislead deliberately or not but that's what seems to be going on.

Our world is filled with con artists, liars and thieves who seek to defraud us. But the Bible warns us about the greatest deceiver of all—Satan the Devil.

God calls men out of darkness and into His marvelous light, kingdom, and glory.   The means by which He does this is through the gospel  not via entertainment or gimmicks.

  As Christians in these last days are we aware of Satan tactics? Have we forgotten that Satan come to steal,  kill and destroy? Are we prepared to avoid his schemes, or could we  fall victim to his deceptions?

Why Does God Allow Suffering?

Some one emailed that question to me. But instead of me giving my opinion. I would  for you the reader  to answer the question  in the comment section.    Suffering can help us appreciate more fully good health, good friends and a loving family.(just a thought)  What do you say?

Is There A Disconnect Between The Black Church And The Black Community?

This billboard is in response to the dreadful news that in the New York area 60 % of Black pregnancies end in abortion.
Agape Press an affiliate of Planned Parenthood is reporting that one in five women having abortions is a professing born-again or evangelical Christian. I would expect most abortions to be committed by lost people who do not claim to be a “Christian” at all. Don't get me wrong! I support a woman right to pick,  select or take what's best for her.   I'm just surprise and shock that a significant number of "saved Holy Ghost fill blood bought women" are guilty of the sin of abortion murder.

With the abortion rate being so high among Christian women in the black community. It makes me wonder is there a disconnect between the pulpit and the pew?   Should pastors of "Black Churches" preach with stronger truth and clarity that Abortion is murder?  Can the truth from the pulpit be more of a deterrence  against  abortions within the "Black  Christian Community"? Should the church on a regular remind Christian that even as free moral agents. The choices we make we are held responsible and accountable for not only in this life but also in the life to come? I remember once upon a time going to church meant you got your toes step on every now and then hearing a sermon against some sin and hearing of the severe consequences such sin will bring upon the head of the sinner.
