Is Wisdom something that can be learn? Is wisdom a characteristic of a person or is it a skill that anyone could acquire? Is Dr. Mike Murdock in error by claiming to be an expert in Wisdom? (he calls himself Mr.Wisdom)
We know God "GAVE" Solomon wisdom and understanding beyond measure, and breadth of mind like the sand on the seashore, so that Solomon's wisdom surpassed the wisdom of all the people of the east and all the wisdom of Egypt.
Solomon spoke 3,000 proverbs, and his songs were 1,005. He spoke of trees, from the cedar that is in Lebanon to the hyssop that grows out of the wall. He spoke also of beasts, and of birds, and of reptiles, and of fish. And people of all nations came to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and from all the kings of the earth, who had heard of his wisdom.
James goes on to tell us "if any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him." The source of wisdom is from God. That means that wisdom cannot be taught as stated above in the flier.
We must stop accepting any old thing as truth. God has defined for us truth. If wisdom comes from God and God's truth is absolute, then God's wisdom is going to be absolute as well. Proverbs 9:10 states, "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding." For one to be truly wise means to fear God. The definition of wisdom that involves creating one's own truth is an incorrect definition of wisdom.
