Divisions in churches can sometime happen over simple things such as the color of the pews to the height of the pastor...some churches split over bible translation....but I never heard of a church splitting over personality....over at Obnoxious blog he's reporting that Jamie Hawkins, son of the late Walter Hawkins is finding it difficult to pastor a personality driven church.
I have always frowned on the idea of treating the Church like a business.....I don't believe the church should be pass down to the next of kin.....neither do I believe a church should be part of a person last will......some folks will/can hand down property to their next of kin.....some will/can leave money in the bank for their loved ones.....it's nothing wrong with that because it's your money/property.....but a church that is about kingdom building is not personal property...my question who own the church?
