I tell you what if I have to hear one more person talking about the black church is more homophobic than other churches… "The Black Church" and homosexuality seems to be in the news every other week.....every time someone come out the closet who happen to be black ......the media goes into high gear and start attacking the church.....like I stated many times before on this blog.....I grew up in the black church construct and have been part of it all my life.....and will always have a love for it...and I don't believe the church is wrong in it stand that homosexuality is a lifestyle choice that is unnatural so therefore it can not be accepted and embrace by the church....now do that mean the church can't support the gay community? NO it does not!! I believe the church can and should support the gay community in having the same rights as everyone else without abandoning it's teaching...."The Black Church" have always believe that homosexual behavior conflicts with the word of God and that the judgement for sin will be judge by GOD......but for people like Mr.Lemons to think the church should embrace such a lifestyle that going against the solid teaching of Jesus...is nothing but a slap in the face to the church....I don't see the church leaving behind the Solid Foundation upon which it was built....in order to embrace a agenda push by man.
