Church Demand Payment For Communion!

In Houston Texas thirty  members of a small  Baptist Church said they refused to give the man-of-god their tax refunds; he refused to give them communion....I know a lot Christians struggle with the issue of tithing and in some churches tithing is over-emphasized....But to try and force church members to give up their tax refund is really crazy...No pastor should pressure his congregation for tithes or other offerings if they don't have it to give.

    Hi Ann:
It's been a while, hope all is well. Did you happen to see The View when they were talkig about prayer in the Senate and then Sherri broke out into tongues? I know it is off subject but go watch this when you have time.

    Be Blessed

  2. Maybe the pastor needed a new Cadillac?!?

  3. Well, withholding a Sacrament, for money. That takes the cake.
Here in Chicago, the Catholic church threatened to withhold communion to anyone supporting gay marriage. Mayor Richard Daley challenged that and was served communion, ending that peice of crazy theatrics.
How dare any minister do such a thing.
