Do God want us to know more about heaven than what He has revealed to us in His Word? Why are so many Christians willing to abandon faith for sight? I believe when Christian fail to walk by faith we are setting our self up for deception. I have a hard time believing in this little boy experience of heaven. I read about the story of Colton, last year. Here's a little boy who claim to have had a heavenly experience during a life-or-death surgery. Colton is now seven years old with a book telling of the experience. There is simply no reason why God would grant such an experience. What is the purpose of it? What does the Bible say about heaven? The Scriptures tell us that heaven is an actual physical place and that God was the one who made it. The Scriptures also tell us that heaven is where God has His throne. According to the Scriptures, heaven is the destination for Christians when they die. The bible says that few will enter Heaven. Little Colton was age four, when he supposedly met family members he’d never known before. He met a sister his mother had miscarried although he’d known nothing about that, and saw “God” and “Jesus.” He’s now seven and talking about it to the press. We are given the Bible, we are given prayer, we are encourage to walk by faith. Don't get me wrong I believe in Gods miraculous healing power which are still granted by God.The most heart breaking thing about reports like this is that Christians believe them. The evidence of heaven is in our Risen Savior and not the experience of man. In these last days true Christians are being deceived by these things. People God is not the author of confusion. Jesus is the only way to heaven the throne room of God.
