It look like I was sleep when this took place....I saw this on a discussion board early today about....How Christian rapper Flame (M. Gray)has started a
Facebook campaign in which he's trying to rally support to go to New York to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with Lil Wayne who's in prison....Some of the comments on that board were hateful and disheartened:
"RAPPERS AND GANG MEMBERS DO NOT DESERVE PRAYERS, THEY DESERVE A FIRING SQUAD"
Like Jonah, we are called to preach to people who'd rather here something different....The first thing God told Jonah to say when he reached Nineveh was, "REPENT" The Gospel does two things: It comforts the afflicted and afflicts the comfortable...The truth that sets us free will make us feel bad before it makes us feel good...God's goal is not our comfort; it's producing in us the character of Christ so the world will be drawn to Him...Question: If you're a Christian have you ever led anyone to Christ?
