Is "2012" The End Of The World?

Are you one of the many  people who believe the world will end in 2012?...According to the Mayan calendar on Dec. 21, 2012 ends great cycle, which was called "The Fifth Sun". The cycle had 5126 years length, and began on  August  13 3113 BC. Some claim that in this year Mayan calendar ends, which could mean the end of the world.... We Americans have always been  entranced by the  end-of-the-world scenarios...Someone email me this question: What's my take on the world ending in 2012? My response:  Don’t dwell on the unknowable - Don’t dwell on the uncontrollable - Don’t dwell on the unfathomable!

John Mark records Jesus, the Christ, in Mark 13:32-33 , telling us: "But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no not the Angels which are in Heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. (v. 33) Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is."Did you get it? Not even Jesus, the Christ, knows everything  there is something kept hidden even from Jesus, the Christ, Himself - and, that something is the very thing that some people profess to know - despite the fact that Jesus, the Christ, Himself doesn’t know - "the day or the hour of the end"! Think about this! What if it were  true! What can man do to stop it?
"NOTHING"!!

With all the hysteria surrounding 2012, something is bound to happen. Man made of course. Like most of the problems of the world.

They will blame God or the Devil but never themselves. The greed and ignorance of mankind will be it's unduing.

Truly we are God's most evil creature. In conflict with our own planet..In conflict with nature.. I'm certain who wins..

If you were "God" what would you save? The planet or the evil creatures destroying it. I think the answer is pretty logical, it's happened before. The earth will be here as it has always been...Humans? Our odds aren't good.

Basically, we are driving over a cliff..You can choose to ignore what is happening or not..YOUR CHOICE..YOUR FREEWILL..

So I disagree, there is something happening, and there is something we can do about it!

1. Realize what is happening. (We are destroying one of God's creations and we need to stop it!)
2. Tell everyone. Talk to everyone about it.

The human mind is incredible, we can use it for good or evil..For the most part humans have used it for evil.

Yes there is something you can do.

It is again YOUR CHOICE, YOUR FREEWILL.

Humanity only has two choices. Keep going along with the current paradigm and "surely you will die" or start moving to a different paradigm...One that takes into consideration our rare planet and all the creatures that inhabit it.

2012? Who knows, but like I said we are going that way aren't we? Seems like lately, something or someone is hitting the Gas Pedal...

How do you stop our little evil car, how do we make that turn at the last second?

Maybe 2012 has the answer. See you on the other side....or not!

BTW...You have to dwell a little on it...You should at least be thinking about it. It is knowable, It is controllable and it is fathomable..

There is nothing hidden...Man will destroy the planet and himself, this is our path, it only has one outcome unless we change.

If you don't think about it, if you don't talk about it, you are just playing into the current paradigm, which is evil.

That's right, evil.

FYI My last comments were "God Inspired"..So don't contradict or blaspheme..

The Bible tells us that God is all knowing, all powerful, and always present. God knew what we would do before He created us. The reason why I don't believe in worrying about what is happening is due to the fact that I can't change anyone but myself. Man is not going to stop going down the road that they are because we see how things are going to end according to Revelations. Man is doing what they did in the time of Noah. Each man is doing what is right in their own eye. They do not care about what God says is right and wrong. Until everyone turns to the Bible and starts living according to it, the world is not going to stop going in the direction they are currently headed. We are not predestined to head in this direction but instead we choose to. I don't believe in the Mayans or in Nostradamus. Jesus said that God never shared this information. He said that only God knows and that is enough for me.

"I can't change anyone but myself"..that's a good excuse for not trying..If Jesus had that attitude..

Don't you think that the people who directed what was put in the canon had an agenda? Maybe one of control?

Not everything that is "God Inspired" is in that book..There are also different books, also "God Inspired"...ALL PARTS OF THE TRUTH...

THAT'S IF THE TRUTH IS SOMETHING YOU ARE LOOKING FOR....

READING THE BIBLE AND KNOWING IT VERSE FOR VERSE, ISN'T KNOWING WHAT GOD IS..

Good thing someone turned on moderation...THIS COULD GET FREAKY..

FREEDOM OF THOUGHT NEEDS TO BE APPROVED OF FIRST.

Noah knew there was going to be a flood before there was a flood..In the bible Noah was approached by God...Everyone thought he was crazy...

Isn't the same thing happening today...The people who have vested interest in the current paradigm laugh at the Noahs of the world..

Next time you see one of those crazies with "The end is near" signs...Think about who is actually insane, who really is crazy..

(I can't change anyone else and neither can you. All we can do is spread the gospel. Only Jesus saves and he does this by changing the hearts and minds of people.)

( First I no nothing about the canon expect it is a book in which catholic priest write their man made thoughts about God. It is blasphemy and wrong. Everything God wanted man to know is in the Bible. The Bible stands as the absolute word of God and it is perfect. God never needed anyone to back Him up by writing books from their view points and putting it off as the word of God. The God of heaven that I know is all knowing, all powerful, and always present. He has given us the perfect and complete instruction book and that is the Bible and it stands alone.

READING THE BIBLE AND KNOWING IT VERSE FOR VERSE, ISN'T KNOWING WHAT GOD IS.. ( Ha Ha what are you saying? Jesus tells us the word is our daily bread. And the only way to know God is read the Bible because it is what God has given us to know him and about life. You also learn about God through prayer and that is also in the Bible.

The canon is:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biblical_canon

Look around see the creation, there is God, you don't need a book to see God.

Again the Bible isn't the only book...Men decided to put what they thought should be in the Bible...

Men wrote the Bible (God Inspired)...It's not perfect and at times it contradicts..Look at the Ten commandments or actually the other commandments after the first ten...YOU REALLY THINK THAT WAS GOD INSPIRED...COME ON...Some of it was just some of the elder Jewish folk trying to control the flock (people)

You may believe that Bible was thrown down from heaven and is perfect..But it simply isn't...That's not the truth.

Even so, the teachings are valid, that is really all that matters..

If you are a true student of religion, try some other books you'll see that other people, other races had ideas on what they saw as God...A long time before there was a Bible..

Just as valid.

All these books are part of an ultimate truth...Jews,Christians, Muslims,Bhuddists are all part of the telling of a story..

This story is bigger than one book...

You'll have to just get over your pride, where in order to be right everyone else must be wrong...

You believe in the Bible, I believe in the whole thing..
