Auto-Tune And Gospel Music Don't Go Together!

So what happens when a person is operating out of their God-given season of life? There are very specific seasons in the year, and the Bible is very clear  letting  us know  that there's  seasons of life.... I know they are not  clear as we would like them to be.... But they're there...While listening to  Shirley Caesar new  release with J Moss I was reminded of this: For everything there is a season this means that there will be times when we are not supposed to do certain things....I am not saying Shirley can't or shouldn't  try any thing new...But what  I am saying is  I don't care for Shirley Caesar the rapper! I just don't like to see season saints trying to rap.

It seems that Shirley Caesar is once again trying to   updated her sound. She tried it once before  with  Tonex...It appears that Shirley is  trying to put some new energy into her sound with elements of rock and hip-hop.... Again  I don't care for Shirley's new approach to delivering the gospel through auto-tune. It's  seems to be sending  a message: if the club won't  come to Jesus, then Jesus is gonna have to hit the club.

Now Shirley Caesar career  includes 11 Grammy awards, 13 Stellar awards, and 18 GMA Dove awards. Some people consider her to be the first lady of Gospel.... Now Shirley recently released her 43rd album, A City Called Heaven on Light Records. No one can speak a epic quite like Shirley: “No Charge,” “Hold My Mule” or “Don’t Drive Your Mama Away”  But this auto-tune sound has got to go.
